I love being able to look back and know those details of our lives and my kids growing up won't be forgotten...already my kids ask me what they did or said and when. And I say, "Let's look it up, I have it written down." Love it.

My favorite thing about memory-keeping these days is allowing myself the freedom to actually "enjoy the moment" without stressing about how I need to scrapbook the moment. While I do want to capture each moment of my two small children's (2 & 4 mo.) lives, I also know that these days will fly by & I need to enjoy them while they're little. Thanks for being such an inspiration!

wow! how exciting! my favorite thing about memory keeping is the fact that i am able to document not just the big events, but also the daily events in my family's life. i also love how my 5YO DS enjoys flipping through his album and snickering at his favorite photos/memories :) i think that is the most precious thing of all!
i also love the quote you posted today - it is so very appropriate to memory keeping :)
thanks, Ali!

My fave thing about memory keeping right now is the ability to look back on what's happened. It seems so simple, but I love how I can look back over the pages I've made and remember what happened in the photos--what I was doing, what I was feeling, and how that memory has helped shaped my life (or a portion of my life today!). And, of course, I love the products of memory keeping and scrapbooking!

Hi Ali!
I love to keep the memories alive because I do not remember much of my childhood and my parents are not reallyh open about the "little" things. I love to remember the cute "little" things my kids, family and friends do.
Thanks,
Amy

Thanks for a fabulous giveaway. Memory keeping allows me to remember the good & not so good times. And to keep the memory of past generations in the present for future generations. So fun!

I love that through memory keeping I am able to show my parents what's going on in my life, even though I'm 700 miles away from them.

My kids are grown and married, one has a baby and the other is expecting her first. Even at their age I love seeing their eyes sparkle when I share a memory of their own childhood--a silly little story; the funny way they pronounced certain words; their favorite stuffed animal or the blanket that they couldn't sleep without. These snippets of their childhood are priceless. They can bring comfort and a sense of belonging. I love preserving these memories for them and for their children.

I have 'rediscovered' sketches and all my product I have in my scrap space. Sitting in my scrap space working on our family Disney album I just had a moment of AHA and things just started to flow. So right now sketches are my favorite thing.

My favorite thing about memory keeping is the fact that my children have something tangible from me to remember their childhood by. My family knows how into scrapbooking I am so when they come over for visits they love to look through my recent creations.

Capturing moments is my favorite part. Just being able to tell a story about something that happened. It also allows for creativity which I love. Thanks for the great giveaway and the never ending inspiration.

Being able to look back on the stories that I have already recorded. My son is only 3 but it is amazing how quickly you forget.

my favorite thing is to capture my boys (3 & 5) in our daily lives - the silly things they do that you will remember forever. I would like to learn how to journal better, but getting their expressions down is enough for now!

nothing brings people out of the woodwork like free goodies...and this is a great one.
Okay, favorite thing about memory keeping...
making me aware of all the blessings and special moments and people that flow through my life everyday that would otherwise just make up a normal existence.

My favorite thing is being able to go back and look at what I have made in the past and re-live those memories that have already been forgotten. I also love to preserve how my child is growing.

I think the thing I'm loving most is how I keep learning little life lessons while I'm working on projects. I was working on a layout about my 7-month-old daughter yesterday and was struck by how much my little one teaches me!

What I am loving right now is my renewed interest in scrapping. I have grown some amazing friendships through scrapbooking. One of those friends just let me borrow your book, A Designer's Eye for Scrapbooking with Patterned Paper. I am lovin' it.
