That is a gorgeous kit!
My favorite thing about memory keeping is going through the photos that I haven't scrapped yet and remembering the event or the people in the photos. That's what gets put on the page when I put it together.

I love the fact that there are so many extraordinary items to help me keep all the memories I want my children, grandchildren, etc. to be able to see and appreciate. It melts my heart when my kids pick up our scrapbooks to look at and ooohh and aaahhh over what everyone used to look like!

Dear Ali,
well, everything my 4 boys do and say is very importent for me, and i wish i would have known scrapbooking before, because it makes you keep more little things in mind and put it in words on a paper not only the pictures, also the little special ideas kids have. But also all the things that happen around us, i try to keep.

What I prefer is to keep track of small things of everyday life, things most insignificant if possible.
And I love failed pictures because they reflect the life and happiness unseizability
thank you for your blog and your ideas ;)

My favorite thing about memory keeping is knowing that I'm preserving memories that I know my DD12 will look back on when she's grown and be glad I did it. I'm trying to document stuff that I wish my parents had documented for me as a kid.

I think of the quote, "One year from now you will wished you had started today." So very true to me now because I am walking through the loss of my sweet dad and there are SO many stories he told me that I didn't write down. Now I wish I had. Though I can't go back I am going forward and beginning to get very intentional about documenting life.

My mom passed away 8 years ago I just turned 35. There's so many times taht I'd love to know what I did when I was little how she felt while pregnant etc etc. I am happy that whatever my future holds the stories I've documented for my family will be there for them.

My favorite thing about Memory Keeping right now is trying to catch the many facial expressions of my 20 month old daughter. We went though 7 years of infertility and 2 miscarriages only to finally be blessed with our daughter. I love to watch her grow through my camera lens!!!

While going through a bit of a rough time, it's really valuable to have documented phases of our lives... to tell our story and to hold on to the positive aspects of our journey when everything does not seem rosy.

Ali, thank you for the giveaways!
My favorite thing right now is keeping it simple. Paper, photos and pen. This philosophy transcends to all aspects in my life.

My favorite thing right now is going back through my old layouts and seeing the growth and changes in my style. Although my style has changed, the memories they bring back haven't changed at all.

My favorite thing right now about keeping memories is documenting all those little things as my two sons grow up so quickly. They're 2 and 5 and I don't know where the time goes! We all love looking back at pictures and scrapbooks and laughing, or saying, remember when?

ALi,
So thoughtful of you to give away these kits!
My favorite thing right now is documenting memories to look back on...in two weeks, one year or ten years. My family loves to sit and reminisce...and I do too!
Plus I love all the beautiful goodies!
Thanks!

My favorite thing is that one day i'll be able to show my future children that i'm not as dorky as they may think, that i may could be cool.

My favorite thing about documenting memories may sound selfish. Looking back over the photos and journaling about my children when they were younger helps me to cope with their growing up. I will always have a way to connect with who they were when they were younger, and to remember the wonderful times we had. My oldest is 14 now,and memory keeping is helping me to let him become more independent. I can hold on to my memories, so that I can hold on to him a bit less and let him grow into the wonderful person he is destined to become.

The best part is what you mentioned in a previous post. It is paying attention. Listening. Using the camera or just enjoying the pause. Memory keeping requires taking the time to make the memory.

I think it is wonderful that almost anything is acceptable now. If I want to do paper & scissors in a mini album that's fine. If I want to do a complete digital book and have it printed into a hardbound book that's fine. What I find the best is that now people are finally accepting that traditional and digi are merging and hybrid memory keeping has become a what works best for you is the right kind of memory keeping.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is the stress-release it provides me. I love going into my creative world in the front of our house! After creating a couple of pages, I feel revitalized and inspired to create more memories! :)
