my favorite part of memory keeping is making mini books that are a little snapshot of our lives at that time. It's great to be able to pick one up at random and re-live these moments.

I so love the Studio Calico kit this month and it is such a bummer it was sold out....I didn't get it quick enough! Maybe I'll still get a chance to get it IF I win...I usually don't have good luck, but it's worth a shot!
What I love about memory keeping right now is incorporating journaling on my pages. I never used to do it until I had my son last year. I just never liked my handwriting and never felt like I had alot to say about things. Now, with him, I just want to remember how I feel and I have just had to get past my handwriting and I really don't even layout what I am going to say I just say it from the heart and I am loving that!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that technology helps make it easier. Not only do I keep a journal that I write stuff down in, but I've been trying to keep my blog updated with pictures so I can go back and see when something happend. Or see visually what we were up to at a certain time in our lives. It sure does make things easier, and with 4 kids that's saying a lot! lol!

After sorting through old photos, I got in the mood to finally scrap some of the smaller vacations we have taken over the years and this packet would be great to finish a mini book with

Recording everyday moments. It is so much fun to look back and remember "small" things that defintely would have been forgotten, but mean the most. My nephew and I look through a mini-book Sunday afternoon about him, and I love seeing his reaction and his his comments about the book.
My husband and I have lots of "small" things we remember from mission trips. I have a great idea for recording those, and this kit would be perfect. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.

1. Photoshop - so much fun stuff you can do with this! 2. Your blog - I won a copy of your life artist book at the PMA show and read it cover to cover while my husband was in a meeting - it has completely changed the way I scrapbook - thanks!

My favorite thing is writing down the stories, because there is no way I'll remember some of this stuff if I don't record it somehow. For example, my three-year-old, when she was afraid during a thunderstorm the other night, pulled her blanket up over her head and said, "I'm making a house for me. . . like a turtle." I really want to remember these moments.

My favorite part of scrapbooking is knowing that I am leaving behind our family legacy for my children....something I didn't have for myself.

My favorite part is seeing my children's reactions when I make a new page for one of their books. They are always so excited. Caught up in the memories of the page. That's what it's all about for me!

When everything comes together, when you find just the right stuff to help you tell your story, the right photo, paper, embellishments and words. The special feeling you get when you finish your work - knowing that your children, relative and friends will enjoy your creation coz it's created with love... that's my favorite part. :-)

For me it's about trying to take everything in. My little guy is already 15 months old, and there has been so much that's happened over that 15 months. By making the time to enjoy memory keeping along the way, he, my husband and I will all be able to look back at the wonderful ways that he has enhanced our lives!

Hi Ali!
My most favorite thing about memory keeping right now is capturing the relationship between my kids. I just had a baby 2 months ago, and his big sister is 3 1/2. He has made me realize how many things I missed with my little girl, and how I want to document his growth. He changes everyday, and I want him to see what things were like for him when he becomes an adult. He is so lucky to have a big sister that loves him so much and I want him to know that it has been that way since the beginning of his life. I feel the same way about my daughter. She seems so much bigger now that he has come along, acting like a little mama with everything she does.
Thanks for the giveaway!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that I'm creating a document about who I am right now, and what matters to me so that I, and others, can look back on it months or years from now and know who I am.

This past weekend I sat with 5 of my very best girlfriends and they asked to see my scrapbooks. We laughed and even cried (a little) reliving everything we do. They always make fun and sometimes annoyed at me taking pictures but they actually "thanked" me for documenting everything places we ate at things we did me who tried to pick us up and their weirdness'LOL! Hi Ali,
Knowing that every moment can be captured and truly remembered. It can be the expression on a face, or words that might have been spoken at that particular time... life made still. Memories ...kept.
