How to choose just one thing?? I am especially drawn to journaling these days- my own words are a huge part of the story for me right now.
I am also getting a big kick out of going through my older photos- there are some great gems in my stash! (I just found a group picture from high school and I'm standing next to a girl who I wasn't friends with but who ended up becoming my sister-in-law!)

I started scrapbooking very late in my kids lives and now that they are about ready to leave home I find it even more important to document a few past events as well as the ones to come...weddings, grandkids (one day). I just never seem to have enough time! I have just picked up using Photoshop Elements and am loving learning new things. I know this will add a whole new dimension to my craft. Thanks for all you do to encourage and inspire us. Keep it up!

I am not embarassed to say that at the moment my favorite thing is not the memory keeping itself, but the creative process behind creating a page. I am looooving haveing scrapbooking as a artistic outlet ;)
Gosh, I don't normally get so eager with giveaways but this one..... WOW
Thanks Ali!

I think right now my favorite thing about memory keeping is that it forces me to stop and think about the moment I'm trying to document -- while the moment is going on. It's actually helping me be in the moment while I'm trying to document it. Does that makes sense?
Thanks, Ali, for all you do!

My favorite thing right now is remembering the little things, like the cute little things my kids say... for instance my 6-year old son saying bye to Daddy..."Bye Dad, don't get fired today." Have no idea where that came from! Or how my daughter brushes her hair...so adorable. I want them to see these things when they're older and to know, that Momma thought everything about them was important. :-)

I really want to improve myself to not only record the memories that we have shared as a family, by taking 50000 pictures, but putting then in a place of honor so we can relive then fun. At 7 I thought all the fun, cool things we have done so far are stored in my sons memory, but so many things he cannot remember, and that just makes me sad. I need to organize these moments better so he can see them.
Thanks for the chance, I hope you pick me.

I love the time I get to reflect and think the moments that I captured over again. I love the girl time I get when I am occasionaly able to sneek out for a crop.
Thanks for offering your daily inspiration.

My favorite thing right now are all of the new products! I was on a break from scrapbooking for a little while (after we sold our home and everything was in boxes for 6 months). I feel like I'm brand new to scrapbooking again! There's so much to learn as far as products and techniques go.
Thanks for the inspriation Ali!

My favorite thing right now is capturing all of the new things my son says out of the blue. I am keeping a journal with me wherever I go so that I can write them down to use on LOs eventually. He is 29 months old and I cannot believe the things he comes out with sometimes!!

My favorite part is flipping back through the memory book and feeling a sense of accomplishment...we've all come a long way and the journey continues.

One of my favorite things is using my blog as my memory bank. Since I'm so behind on my scrapbooking I can at least rely on a trail of our stories through the blog. Whenever I get the chance I jot down phrases from my 4 year old son. They are hilarious! If I didn't blog, I know I wouldn't retain them. I'm just hoping they eventually make it into some sort of scrapbook some day...

My favorite thing right is all about the photos. I am enjoying trying to improve my skills and capture as much of the story/personality in the photo as I can. Also really enjoying playing in Photoshop and learning the do's and don'ts of editing.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is sharing the time with my son. We just came back from a vacation in Montana. I bought him a scrapbook and he has been documenting his favorite memories from the trip. It's very sweet to see what he enjoyed the most and I love his 6-year-old handwriting.

I love sharing with people. I make little photo books for grandparents, create photo calendars with templates--even just seeing my son look at his scrapbooks--that is what makes it worthwhile to me.
And, also, patterned paper & color just makes me HAPPY! :)

Two things for me right now: the first, I think will always be the real motivator, remembering moments. I have a terible memory, and I don't want to lose the little things that make me so happy in my day to day world. The second which has popped up more recently is being creative and having fun getting pages done. Love it, love your blog. Thanks for keeping it up and inspiring me all the time!
