Hi Ali,
Thank you for the fun give away! That's very sweet of you!
My favorite thing about preserving our memories right now is getting to show family what we've been up to at each location we've lived. My hubby used to be in the USAF and we have lots of memories of every place. Just glad to be able to share those with others and browse through them for ourselves, too.

Hi Ali,
My favorite thing right now are all the arrows on papers and chipboards...I just can't get enough.
I also like to compare how people have grown up and changed over the time I have been scrapbooking.

my favorite thing is to document the small and simple things because often times looking back on the past, i find those small and simple things are often the things that meant or mattered the most.

Hey Ali! Thanks for the great giveaway op... My favorite thing about scrapbooking right now is my new camera. I found it on the web, and it's a blast getting some much-improved photos of my DDs.

My favorite part right now would be the therapeutic feeling journaling gives me. I don't feel like "scrapbooking" at all right now, but it has become more of an artistic way of emoting. I hope to look back on it one day and be able to say "If I knew then what I know now"...

my favorite thing about memory keeping right now is how it unleashes my creativity- inspired by the life of me and my family, the ones I love and everything I share with them- how simply paper + glue + photos evoke so much gratitude at the world we live in, our home, and experiences. The emotional journey I take when I combine these 3 in endless ways that make my happy- one photo of a smiling girl in the middle of a field, holding a brown fuzzy caterpillar summarizes in a single shot, the joy of my 4 year-old daughter's first camping trip this past weekend, beautifully.

One of my favorite thing now is documenting the moments my husband and I are enjoying with our six years old granddaughter. I use 4 x 6 index cards, a photo, journaling and ephemeras. Little things, feelings... You were my inspiration(your minibook Little things in Life artist). Simplify, simplify...
merci Ali!

My favorite part is getting to look back at my books and show my children what they looked like, what they were doing, what they said, etc when they were younger. My DD loves nothing better than to look at herself when she was little. Puts a smile on my face every time!

my favorite thing about memory keeping right now is actually including my 3 girls in the process. one is 7 and two are 4 and they are currently making mini 'all about me' books at a lss. although there are samples, they are doing the pages their way (which actually makes me happy) and i am only helping minimally - and only when asked. not only are we having fun together, but we'll have a great physical reminder of who they were this summer.

Ali, what a fun post topic. For years I have scrapbooked, but have always been behind--uuugghh! I am now just letting go and scrapbooking in the direction of my inspiration. :) I sometimes still like having some sort of chronological order, but not all of my pages need to be. I am also loving creating mini books--I can't wait to get your new book!

My favorite thing right now is recording all of the little memories that are so easily forgotten - both my kids playing cars together (and sharing them!), planting new things with my son, etc.

My favorite part of memory keeping is remembering my kids when they were very young. They are now 18 and 21. The relationship changes over time but the love remains the same.

My favorite thing is recording all the funny things my son has said over the years. Such cute funnies. Some of them I actually forgot until I was reminded of them. So glad I wrote all that down. Such sweet things.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that it can be as simple or as complicated as you like I like it to be. I can make simple pages with nothing but words + photos or I can make something a little more complicated if the mood strikes and use embellishments and various techniques to complete a page. What a wonderful hobby we have! And also that there is so much versatility in todays products...so much can be used in so many different ways. I just love the creativity scrapbooking allows me! Thanks for the opportunity to win that fabulous kit...it looks amazing!

I love how looking back at the 'snapshots' of our lives intensifies the memories; how much fun is it to relieve those moments again and again.
Our young daughters share their scrapbooks with my husband/their dad who is disabled with MS and lives in long term care. Scrap-booking lets him be a part of our adventures and share in the memories.
When I see smiles and hear the laughter or conversation that comes with looking at our albums, it affirms that great things can come from treasuring the smallest of moments.
thanks Ali

My favorite thing about memory keeping: I love the brainstorming, I love the finality of the project. But my favorite is when I have the idea in my head of how I want it to turn out, everything sketched, and than my ideas take a turn. The unexpected idea that is just so cool I have to do it. It's not an idea that makes me tear everything up and start over, it's just a slight detour.
