My favorite thing about memory keeping is the way scrapbooking makes me feel. It calms me, it helps me get through things, and it just makes me feel great! I have discovered how much I enjoy looking at my pages and not only remembering the event shown on the page, but also the day I made the page. Each one has it's own little story and I love how this has become an extra extension of the memory preservation process for me! That kit is awesome, btw!

Right now I love that this hobby/obsession can be about just having fun and creating. It doesn't have to be only about preserving memories. I like to do this for me just as much if not more than for my family. It's my playtime fun!

My favorite thing is tied between the stress relief scrapbooking brings me and capturing as many memories and moments as I can of my son who is growing SOOOOOo fast. Scrapbooking is my biggest stress reliever. something about being covered in stickles, zip dry and ink just makes my soul happy!! :)

my favorite thing is to document the small and simple things because often times looking back on the past, i find those small and simple things are often the things that meant or mattered the most.

what i love about memory keeping right now is that there is SO much out there to take simple photo and make it spectacular! getting the feel of the photo by just setting it up on a page - journaling or not.

My favorite thing is being surprised when I look at old projects and the memories come flying back into my line of vision... .as we all know the mind can only hold so much so when we scrapbook we capture all the mind cannot hold and more!
Cheers,

My favorite thing right now if trying to capture the day-to-day normal stuff & getting it scrapped. Those pages are by far my favorites. I look at them and the memories coming flooding back about those little moments in time. So fun...!

Hey Ali,
I've taken a break from regular scrapping right now - but I'm still journaling, collecting ideas, and really trying to learn my camera better (I've just started shooting in full manual... scary!)
Thanks for the awesome giveaway, and have a good Monday!

WOW, what a great kit!
My favorite thing right now is scrapping my honeymoon. I'm challenging myself to TELL the story BEYOND what the Photograph tells.
Its been the first time I've stretched my creative writing and added in personal, original thoughts, that will let our "someday family" in on what made our trip so memorable.

My favorite thing about memory-keeping right now is how much fun it is to go back in time and relive events from my past that brought me such joy then and even more joy now, like falling in love with Daniel and getting married.
I'm getting ready to work on a mini-book called "How We Met," and I was just on a memorabilia expedition for that project. It totally made me happy.

I love that in 2 short yof scrapbooking I can already look back and see things I know I would have forgot. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner! I also love the creative outlet and how you can integrate other art forms into it.

My favorite part is sharing. Making albums for my mom and sisters and brothers. They claim they are not creative, yet the look on their faces when I make an album is priceless.

My very favorite thing still is, and has been from the start, finding an esthetically pleasing way of preserving my memories. I have a very bad memory, and there are so many things that I want to remember about my kids from birth, onward. I know I'd never remember it without getting it on paper. And then to have a fun way to put it on paper? Icing on the cake!

I'm coming back to memory keeping with a renewed energy after a 2 year hiatus. I'm loving all of the stylistic elements that have emerged on the scene, just like all the stuff in this great kit!

My daughters are 3 and 10mths. I love that scrapbooking makes me remember that it is not always abt tantrums and sibling rivalry. I love the memories of the first word said, the first picture drawn. i love that i can remember my firstborn at the same age as my 2nd one BECAUSE i did all those memory keeping stuff ever since she was born :)

What a beautiful kit. My favorite thing about recording memories is watching my kids look through them and remember. So many of the events chronicled in their scrapbooks are from a time I am sure is beyond their memories (first birthdays, grand parents who passed when they were 1 or 2 years old) I love watching them re-live (or re-create?) the experiences. It also keeps the past alive and makes keeps their grandmother real to them.
