Thanks for the option to win!!
My favorite part of scarpping is that it is a great stress release for me, plus, its a great way to reminisce about the past experiences. I love that you put all this effort into creating something that will be wonderful to look at in the future!!

Hi Ali,
My favorite thing right now is following your advise and just going with pictures and words. Love the concept and has allowed me to just capture the everyday moments that are going to
remind my boys 8 and 23 of the moments of life not just the big moments but the little moments that made up our family. Thanks for the great inspirations Ali.

my favorite thing right now is a small journal of letters to my daughter that I started right after she was born on May 13 of this year. I am writing letters about different stages in her life from her birth on...and my thoughts as she changes and grows. I will one day (maybe on her wedding day or graduation day or some big event like that) give her the journals of her life through my eyes. I just think it will be such a great gift for her to have these little details of her life.

i love making memories...because life is wonderful but way too short and it is fun to look back on the good, bad, funny, ugly stuff of family life. my husband and children enjoy looking at all the scrapbooks i have made in the past 5 years...mini book for the grandchildren...everyone loves it all and i am glad to be the family historian!

I love the sense of history and journey that scrapbooking provides...it helps us to look back in a positive way and remember how far we've come, in ways that few other things can. Thanks for doing this giveaway (love studio calico!)

My favorite thing is remembering the little details because I did make a mini album or layout about them.

Right now I am enjoying journaling in the moment ... what I'm thinking and feeling when I am working with the photos and creating the page. Not something scripted that I came up with after much though, just what is real.

Ali - I just discovered ancestry.com and have been having so much fun resesarching and talking with my father and grandfather about our family and learning so much about those who have gone before me and then sharing those stories with my little girls. I love how our past connects us with our future.

My favorite thing right now is digging through old photographs and making some sort of connection with things in our lives today. I just moved to MA this year and both of my sets of Grandparents were born here. I have enjoyed digging around to see what I could find out (and see). Thanks for the great giveaway.

Hi Ali, My favorite thing about recording the dailiy memories of my two children is to know that one day they will look at their scrapbooks and see how they wrote, pictures they drew, colored and see their surroundings when they were a child. I just recently found a scrapbook my mother made and in it had snippets of my handwriting at an early age and pictures I drew and it was amazing to see that as an adult.

my favorite thing right now? digging deep and using scrapbooking as more of an artistic journaling process, rathern than simply documenting special events. It's a very cathartic and beautiful process... I've always kept a diary ever since I was little; scrapbooking lets me express myself even more than that, giving me "permission" to expose my inner SELF through art.

I started scrapbooking around 2001, and now I'm going back to those photos and entries and enjoying the exact purpose that I had in mind for them. It's almost like getting to re-live the moment because I feel what I felt then. Going forward, it's such a reinforcement to keep a positive view on life and enjoy each little moment, so that when I look back on now, I get to re-live something wonderful.

Hi Ali,
My favorite things about memory keeping right now are just pictures of my daughter and mother. My mother passed away two weeks before my daughter (her first grandchild) was born. I love to look at pictures of my mother just to remember her funny expressions, comments, momisms, and her love for me. Right now my daughter is five months old and is growing in leaps and bounds. When I look at pictures from her first week home, I cannot believe the change in that little person. She went from a helpless newborn to a baby who discovered the art of rolling across the living room in order to get a toy that is out of reach- even if she is rolling in the opposite direction of her toy. I take at least one picture of her everyday, in order to remember what she looked like in each outfit that she has- we were blessed with so many clothes at our showers.

WoW! What a lot of comments you have! My favorite thing is realizing that through the stories I am journaling and the pictures that I choose to take, I am leaving behind a living testament of my life for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren, both yet to come.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is taking photographs. I just recently got a new digital SLR for my birthday and I've been having so much fun getting to know the camera and seeing what amazing memories I capture. I can't wait to use it at my sister's wedding this weekend!

I am into writing down exactly the same words that are being said by my kids at the time. Things that make me laugh. We went to Salvation Mountain in California and my 5 year old said," if I could I would take this mountain home and give everyone I know a little piece." Thats what will be on my layout of our trip. Those are the memories I am recording. Thanks Ali, Your great..LOL Gloria King
