Ali, What a great way to start the week!
My favorite thing when I make a mini book is just the escape I get when I create! It's like therapy for me; pure, simple pleasure of creating and reliving the memories! Thanks for all your inspiration!

Memory keeping has become even more special to me as I see my grandma struggle with Alzheimer's. It is so important to capture our family memories to record them for our families and loved ones. Simply put: my favorite thing is the keeping of memories.

My favorite thing is seeing my little girl (almost 3) beginning to look through her albums and get really excited!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now are the words. My camera recently broke, and it has actually given me an opportunity to look past the photos and use the words to describe what I never want to forget, what I want my children to know about our family.
Thanks!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that I can do whatever I want with it. I don't _have_ to write down everything if I don't want to - but that I _can_. That I can take pictures, and I can choose to leave the camera at home. I can write in my journal, or draw, or collage, scrapbook, write poems, or letters to friends and family. My favorite thing is that it is about life and that it has as much variation as life itself.

Loving the digital scrapbooking world right now. Love the ability to manipulate photos. I am having fun shopping for and using fun and funky digital products to make my hybrid projects--feel like I am growing as a scrapbooker--more freedom to express my creativity.

One of my favorite part of memory keeping is taking photos of my daughter and son when they are not expecting it and they are actually getting along and are sitting close together. Then thinking of the colors to put together for that particular picture. Thanks for the chance to win something. I love your blog.

It's totally the process & fun stuff to make it happen!!! I love what the process does for me. Scrapbooking the moment becomes a cherished time of reflection which isn't as likely to happen for me if I shove the photos in an album or don't print them at all! I also happen to love the stuff! Finally, it's even better when I can share the experience with a few good friends :o)

The most important thing at this moment is just remembering. . . I blinked and my children are 4 and 6! I read over my layouts and journaling and can't believe I've forgotten certain details that used to consume my days. I also want my children to know who their mother was as a person too - and I believe the stories told on the layouts will reveal more than just the 'mom' perspective :-) Blessings, Vicki

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is recording all the crazy/cute things my son does. His first 3 years have flown by and its nice to be able to go back and look at what he used to do or the quirky comments he has made.

My favorite thing is how happy it makes me feel when I look back on the memories. Also, I want to have memories/photos (photos + words) telling our stories for our special needs little boy...so that someone can read the stories to him when we're gone. Gosh, that part makes me feel oh so sad.

I love knowing that my kids will rememeber their childhood and that i am leaving that legacy for them when they grow up. it's not so often that you look at pictures in a plain old album and remember exactly what took place that day but when i make my pages i write (journal) on every one as to what was going on that day or in that photo, that way they will always "remember".

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now are those moments all to myself, in the studio creating...and I don't have to feel bad about it b/c the end result is something the whole family will end up enjoying. Now that is priceless :)

I love keeping track of my special moments in my own creative way. I have a son that just turned one, and all of his friends have the cookie cutter memory books...place photo here, make list there...then there is Logan's book that is not afraid to have a full two page spread about his wooden frog or his favorite mashed sweet potato!!

I just started scrapbooking the end of April. I have 2 young boys and love that I can have their pics stored that way instead of in some box put away. It is a great relaxer, and my 6 yr old sits with me everythime I get my stuff out so he can do things also!

I am currently in love with taking pictures of my two sons. We are having so much fun looking back at older pictures and seeing how much they have grown and changed. Even my teenager is getting involved!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is seeing how much my boys have grown and changed. My oldest son just graduated from high school, and looking at his baby pictures makes me cry. It's just so easy to forget what they were like 18 years ago, or even 18 days ago!! So, scrapping helps keep those memories fresh.
thanks

Right now the biggest thing for me is that memory keeping doesn't have to be traditional and in a scrapbook. I love that I can capture memories in a creative way - maybe it's a blog post or a mini album.

I have two boys, and it amazes me the "little" things that I've forgotten with my oldest son that I didn't capture....I'm doing all I can to capture what they do each day now and my biggest hope is that they'll really appreciate it some day!
