There are no pics of me from the age of 3-4 and under, everything was destroyed in a flood. I am hoping through various scrapbooking efforts to ensure my kids have memories from their childhoods.

My favorite thing about memory keeping is how far it's come in so short a time. I love making decorations for my home that help it feel warm and loving and personal. I also love to create scrapbook pages that can be pulled out and looked at. These things are so important to remember and to keep my family's memories alive.

Favorite thing about memory keeping right now: When my daughter pulls out the scrapbooks to remember when she was "little"... Thanks!

My favourite thing about memory keeping right now is that it's made me so much more aware of each moment, whether with my husband or with my sweet granddaughters. I treasure the little pieces and each day so much more than I did before scrapbooking seriously.
And this kit would be wonderful with my vacation pictures from Europe and South America. Thank you for sharing so much goodness, Ali!!

I think my favorite thing about my memory keeping is that it's taken various forms- from my facebook to my blog to my scrapbooking. I got a ton of pages done this past weekend (Seven!), complete with journaling and embellishments, and I think the key is to really stick to your style, or find people who do things in a manner that's similar to yours.

Hi Ali,
My daughter reaches the magical age of 21 this year. 21yr olds sometimes think they have all the answers and mums are fuddy-duddies. I love that memory keeping allows me to talk to her without lecturing (smile) and that I can slip in wise quotes for her to absorb in her own quiet time. The written word can be very powerful.

Ali,
My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is getting to "freeze" the moment. My daughter is growing and changing so much right now that I need roller skates to keep up. Memory keeping also helps me to communicate to her, as she's ready, the messages I have for her regarding choices she might yet have to make, the way her dad and I feel about things, and each other, and her. She may not be ready for those lessons at the present time, or all at one time, but by recording them for her, she has the opportunity to learn and "review" as often as necessary. Getting to play with the paper is a lot of fun, too.... :)

Oh my, these giveaways are just so darn popular!!
My favorite thing about memory keeping is simply that ... memory keeping. Recording and recalling all the little details and memories in life that we think we'll never forget ... but so easily do. It's a chance to be creative, to remember, and to capture and stop time for a page or two.

My favorite thing about memory keeping is that I have a very good time when I make a layout, when I finish an album. For me is so nice to choose, organize the scrapbook items. I really enjoy the creative process. When I'm done I want to share with others.

What a wonderful and generous kit!
My favourite thing about memory keeping atm, is reliving the laughs and the tears.
Time goes so fast and I don't want to forget all the moments. I have one child who is half way through his first year of school and I love seeing how much he has grown but also want to remember when he was little.

Right now I'm glad that I can remember some childhood memories, find some sort of memory triggering items to photograph and share them with my sisters. Now that we each have growing children it's nice to remember what we used to do for fun and how much simpler it seemed then.
