Looks yummy...I'd love to have it! My favorite thing about scrapbooking is all the friends I've made and continue to make doing it. Thanks Ali!

This past month my husband and I were thrilled to have all of our children and grandchildren together in one place for the first time ever. There were 21 of us. We live in 4 different states. I made books for each grandchild and took pictures of each of them to trade and put in their books. I also put out pens, stickers, stencils and embellishments for them. I had hoped everyone would get into it, but was surprised that all the adults wanted books too. So I made more and every night a group would gather around the table and work on their books. We had 6yr olds and all the way up and they were all most enthusiastic. Everyone went home with a complete book of their time together. This is what it is all about: making memories together.

Ali,
I would have to say, my favorite thing about memory keeping now, would have to be having my kids come in my room to "check on me" & see what I'm working on next. This is their NEW thing! Then watching their expression of excitement when it includes pictures of them. They are some of my biggest fans!
I love your kit & thanks for the offer to enter the contest!

I love the creativity keeping memories allows me. The best reward is that in the future our son's family will get to know him a little better through the memories that we kept.

Hello! Greetings from Colorado!
What I like about memory keeping
is the reminder of times past.
My two kids and I love to look
at our scrapbooks and talk about
how cute they were or how much
fun we had during a vacation.
It's so neat to see the process
of growth in my children.
P.S. love the kit - it's beautiful!

My favorite thing is capturing those little ordinary moments and highlighting them in a way that gives them the significance they deserve. Because really there aren't any little ordinary moments, they are all suignificant in some way.

I am listening to my neices and nephews and writing down their comments about life. Just yesterday my niece said, "Wow Aunt Sharon you have the most fun job ever. You are so lucky." I realized that I need to document my job and where i work and what I enjoy about it. I take it for granted and when I have those hard days dont necessarily think I am all that lucky. As it turns out, through the eyes of an 8 year old, I have an incredible job. And I do. Thank you to her for helping me take the moment to have gratitude.
I am also remembering phrases that my siblings or my parents said to us. I am jotting those down as titles for pages. My father who has passed away, used to claim to be the "Champion" at just about ever concievable thing - water blending...who knew? As kids we thought it must be a real sport...So though I have no photos of him with his blender one of a blender will bring those memories and the stories flooding back. I have asked my siblings about that prompt and they remembered too with a smile.
I am putting all these memories as they come into a journal and its helping me to organize potential everyday moments into pages and albums.
thanks for the opportunity to post for more goodies.

My favorite thing about sharing memories is that they bring joy to so many people today and in the future. We buried a relative today and the photo slide show and the memory board we're very much appreciated. So glad that we had the memories to share.

Hi Ali, Its funny how we change from time to time. Sometimes its all about what is in or patterned paper. Right now I'm enjoying the art end of it even though I'm not artistic as far as drawing. I just paint away on my watercolor paper and then put it together in a mini album bought from a thrift store or garage sale. I have changed over from had to be just right to enjoying the funky stuff letting my artsy fartsy ways come out. LOL

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is how it has helped me process through a rather difficult year with my teenage son. Old photos, old memories brought present again, help me to put everything in perspective. That crazy 16 year old still has that joyful 5 year old inside of him. The photos and scrapbook pages help me to remember that.

I can barely remember what I had for breakfast let alone those cute things they say so my favorite thing about memory keeping right now is blogging because I can get those moments down right away and then scrap about them later...

Hi Ali,
Not really a scrapbooking, or even paper-craft, memory-keeping favorite, but I'm LOVING embroidering the designs drawn by my 5-, 4- and 3-year-old kids. I transfer their art to fabric, then stitch them with embroidery floss. We have yet to decide where these will be displayed -- an apron, pillow, wall or scrapbook -- but all of us are enjoying the process!
:)
