i'm really looking forward to seeing this book!
i just got back this weekend from a trip to africa. i was in uganda working with women and children. my favorite photos are of children in a refugee camp in norther uganda (where there has been conflict for about 20 years). the kids were so amazed by the idea that i could take their photo and they could see it on the back of the camera. they got so close, in a few photos, the little tips of their noses are pressed up against the lens! i really would love to make a minibook of the photos i took of these kids!

My favorite one so far is the one I made for my DH as a keepsake of our big trip last year. It was our first trip together of that length, and with NO KIDS! It's a 6x6 acrylic album that can stand freely and he has it proudly display in his office at his squadron.

I have been looking forward to your new book, so glad it's finally been released ! I'm in the process of making a mini book in a tin, about a Santana concert we went to last month. We gave the concert tickets to a friend for his birthday, I snapped some funky pictures of all of us during the concert and the birthday boy will get this mini book as a second present.

i recently made pages using donna's "newspaper" technique. then i'm going to put them together using your ideas of including many different types of pages, envelopes, acrylic, cardstock, whatever i find. i'm not sure what i'm going to use the book for yet, possibly about a trip to ausable chasm last year. love your books, thanks for the chance at a giveaway.

Your book looks amazing! I am working on one from my boys birthday party this year when they turned two. I am planning on making it "touchable" for them to look at. Looking forward to sewing on my page protectors :)

One of my favorite mini-book is the one that I made in your class - yesterday, today and always. Loved the embossing and masking treatment on the outside of the naked chipboard book and how it turned out. My second one is from Sweetwater and its small and very cute - a book about me from childhood and family and my favorite things. I had never done anything like it. It has tabs and sayings and I love how it turned out as well.

My favorite mini book is the one I made for my Mom after her first grandchild was born. It was all kinds of pink and cuteness and she loves carrying it around to show off her granddaughter!

Favorite? Well I've only done like three so thats easy to narrow it down. My favorite was teh one that I started that is all about me with pages about me, my husband and I, each of my three kids, and then about who I am and what I like and don't like. I wanted to put it down so that if something happened to me- my kids would be able to look at it and know who I was.
I can't wait to get your new book! Either here or at Christmas but I'm hoping for here.

My favorite mini book is a book of cute things I heard my kids say, and it has coordinating pictures. I am so glad I can remember those funny and interesting things that come out of their mouth.

not the most "original" idea, but my 2-year-old started preschool early, so i want to create a mini-book for him to take to school with him and add his crafts to. (at 2, their projects are not very big!) probably something with lots of library card pockets and heavy duty modge-podged chipboard cover.

Fall is my favorite season, so I'm looking forward to creating a minibook about fall fun - apple orchards, fall leaves, halloween. All of this is so much more fun with a little one!
