I have a lot of "favorite" mini books. I guess if I had to pick one, it would be the one I called Mom's Little Notebook. I carried around a notebook in my purse for about a year. I wrote down all kinds of things our son did that year. Some were just notes about activities. Some were stories that I wrote about how I felt. Some were quotes and conversations. It is from about 2 years ago. I read through it a few weeks ago and was swept away by all the details that were captured. I don't know why I haven't kept it up. I need to do it again.

My favorite mini album that I have ever made is the one of our trip to Vegas a few years ago. I consider it a mini...it is 12 x 6!
I made it entirely on chipboard pages and it is sandwiched between two novelty license plates we got while we were there that say "just wed". (we got married there on that trip too!)
I am sooo excited for your new book! I can't wait to get my hands on one and I do hope I am one of the lucky winners or I'll have to wait for christmas to get it! :(
Live laugh LOVE,
Heather

I just took a trip to surprise my dear friend for her birthday. We went crazy with photographs, and I would love to put together a mini book to celebrate our time and share with my friend.

Hi Ali! Congratulations on the new addition to the family!
The mini book I'm just beginning to plan is one that shows favorite things of each member of our family (movies, foods,etc.). I plan to remake a book every other year to see how our favorites change.

i haven't made mine yet but i am itching to start! this year has been a crazy travelling year for my husband and i - it started off as one planned trip to the dominican as a delayed honeymoon and turned into several trips - israel, egypt, memphis, minneapolis etc. most of which were unplanned (memphis was super spontaneous, we booked a day before we left!). so i'm planning on making a minibook about our crazy travels.

My favorite mini book is one I'm just about to create featuring my summer at work. I work with children and so the book is going to be a bit kid-ish but still really fun!

Planning a mini book from my kids photo session with the photographer instead of just doing one page like before I thought I would do a small book with all the pictures.

We're creating a mini book of summertime sidewalk chalk art.... pictures of our daughter's art, including wide shots of murals, "still lifes" of chalk sticks and containers, our girls' smiling chalk-smeared face, etc.

My favorite so far is one I made inspired by your clear Christmas album, about a day that we went to the snow in February. Love it. Looking forward to making one about my kid-free getaway with my husband to Whidbey Island.

ohh i'm looking forward to this book.
my favorite minibook project was a mother's day gift one year-i had witten a short account of how my mother taught me to create beauty-how she would pick Buckets of flowers off the side of the road in the country and make gorgeous big bouquets all over our house from what others would call weeds. i created a visual mini-book from that story, and years later she still brags about it to her friends. :)

We just got back from a family vacation to Florida. I already have my papers bought for a minibook of all the pictures from the beach. Now I just need to find the perfect album/book.
My most favorite minibook right now is my girls weekend to New York last summer. I love remembering the memories!!

My favorite mini book is still the first one I ever made...a paper bag book for my husband on our 13th anniversary. It was my first attempt using all the great "lumpy" supplies that I couldn't bring myself to use on my regular scrapbook pages. It is artful and I still love looking at it six years later...somehow it didn't come out trendy. And the best thing, my husband still keeps it on his nightstand to enjoy!

I've actually been taking Tena Sprenger's handmade books class through Big Picture this year, so have learned about several new styles that I hadn't had a chance to make before. The one I'm going to be working on this week is a star book, most likely as a Christmas gift for our host daughter, Marta. She is from Germany and lived with our family this past year. We loved having her with us, and thought this would be a good reminder of some of the fun things we did together.
I'm so looking forward to your new book! I have so enjoyed your previous 3, most especially "Life Artist." You always have such a unique take on mini books, and I'm looking forward to more ideas from you! Thanks-
