We are taking the kids to Disneyland for the first time this October so I plan on creating a minibook that highlights the trip so the kids (and anyone else) can easily flip through it.
Looking at the comments - everyone has some really cool mini-book ideas.

There are just so many that I love but my favourite would have to be the acrylic mini album you did last year - counting down to Christmas. I have started a scraplift and hope to get it done before the first of December this year.
If I won your new book I could probably come up with a few more favourites. Pick me.

All of our Disneyland trips since my son was 2...he's 9 now...thought it would be fun to see them all in one small happy place.

my very very favorite mini, which to be honest I haven't made many, is a matchbook mini I made using lyrics from the Kate Nash song "Birds". It was random and fun!

We've lived in New Hampshire for 4 years and this year was my first summer trip to the Cape. I loved it and had a great time - so much so, that I decided to make a mini book of my 4 days there.
This is my first mini book and based on I'm excited to start am excited to finish this upcoming weekend.

One of my favorite minibooks to make are travel minibooks. I love collecting tidbits from the trip (postcards, ticket stubs, menus, brochures, etc.) and using them in the minibook. I put in a few pictures of highlights from the trip and then journal our adventure. The rest of the pictures from the trip are put away in a photo only album. This way the pressure of scrapping every single photo from the vacation is taken off me.

Mini-books are my favorite! Just the right size to hold and not too overwhelming. The one I am going to start next is the one of our summer vacation to Sea Grove, Florida. Just need to get the pictures developed and decide which book to use! Would love a copy of your book!

I have been kicking this idea around for a while. I am going to create a mini-book tracking our path to parenthood. For us it has included many many fertility treatments, emotional highs and lows, lots of love and growth. We may not get the storybook ending but it will be the ending of our journey.

One of my favorite mini books is one I made my mother for her 65th birthday. It was "65 reasons I love you." It was interspersed with the reasons and photos. Very fun to make! I look forward to reading your book!

My favorite minibook was one that I designed from paint chip samples from Home Depot. It included really tiny, mounted pieces of art and pictures of art that my then three year old had made. It was bound with two big rings.

I'd love to get my hands on this book. I've always claimed that I don't "do" mini books, but I have a basket full of them
My next "mini" is going to be the things my 2 1/2 year old says...one of the funniest ( to his older brother is "Wawa stop being a chicken"!
Thankyou for the chance to enter the drawing Ali :)

I recently purchased your Life Artist and A Designer's Eye books and have been inspired to create, for the first time, 4 scrapbook pages. Also inspired by your blog I have created a mini book based on the Beach chipboard book. My daughters are 24 and 21 and after reading Stacy Julian's book, Photo Freedom(recommended by you) I have organized and become familiar with all my old photos and am inspired to create many more. I am now taking photos of my garden and plan to begin a mini book soon. Thank you for all your inspiration, I have never felt more creative.

I love mini-books! They make the perfect gift for family - I'm working on a set of minibooks to give Grandparents for Christmas, about my two older boys' baseball season this year.

I want to do a book with my 2 kid's first words. I don't want to forget these little words "da-da, ball, woof"...
I am a beginner and I need some inspiration. You can say I am overwhelmed by all the information and materials out there and I am sure that this book would help me focus.
