My favorite one is one I did about a girl's camp I was a leader at. I love it and the girl's love to look at it.

My favorite mini-book is one I made for my daughter to tell the story of her engagement. Both she and her husband are bloggers and posted their versions of the story. Using those and photos my son-in-law had taken of his elaborate preparations and the party afterward, I made a mini-book to record this amazing event.

My favorite mini book is one I made of a vacation we took with another family for spring break. I made 2 identical books and gave one to the other family.

I have never done a mini-book before! However, my MIL just took our whole family to the Jersey Shore for a quick vacation and I would like to do a thank you book for her!

My favorite mini-book is one that I created over a 28-day span, taking one picture each day of the everyday things that I don't usually scrapbook. I love the "normalcy" of it. Best of all, I used only leftover scraps of paper, so it's environmentally friendly!

Hi,
One I'm planning to create is an all about you book about my son. I'm going to put all the cute little things he says in it.

Ali-
Thank you for sharing all your great ideas for making mini books and making them such a huge part of the "main stream" scrapbooking style. They are some of my favorite projects to do, and give me such instant gratification. My current favorite is an album I made as a gift for my brother of the engagement pictures I took of he and his bride. I made one for the two of them, as well as my Mom...and she loved it.
Have a great day.

I am starting a mini book with the first pictures of my kids, right after birth with me, my husband and their siblings, to show how they looked alike as babies and how we looked with them in our arms for the first time (the same in love silly faces always lol). I am doing it now because we just had our last baby (she is 3 weeks old today :) - I think it is going to be a very beautiful book, I can't wait to put it together (but the kids are definetely not helping me lol) they are 3 yo, 18 months and 3 weeks, and not very interested in scrapbooking :)

Can't wait to see this book! My favorite project was a valentine book that I made for my hubby last year. I don't tell him often enough how much I love him!

I have really got into mini-books just this year. I have been on two vacations and for each I made a mini-journal book. I used the bind-it-all, and all of Teresa Collins Travelogue stamps. I add the day of the week stamp for each page as well. I have had a ball making these two albums, as well as USING them on each vacation. I record fun stuff, silly stuff, times we started and ended in the day, places we stayed - everything I would want to know when I finally get around to scrapping those pictures! Can't wait for the new book...

Before I went to the hospital to have my baby, I made a very simple (just photos and words) little album with a small collection of my favorite family photos. Just me, my husband and our dog. I loved being inspired by those photos to get through the birthing of my babe, and to have them around in the following days when we were at the hospital.

My favorite mini-book was one I completed as my final project for a college course in family development. The course was roughly based on the book "Nickel and Dimed: On NOT Getting by in America". The professor wanted something unique to demonstrate the issues brought up in the book. When I approached her with my idea for a scrapbook, she loved it....so did I!!! I aced the course and the professor wanted to keep the scrapbook to show future classes.
Cheers,
Karen Geckler

I am very excited about your new book. I have all your other ones and reference them often. My favorite mini-book that I have made in the past was for my grandfather's 85th birthday. I traveled out to Las Vegas for his birthday party to present it and he loved it. It was a book celebrating his life and what he meant to us, his children and grandchildren. He has since passed away and the mini-book is with my parents. The precious thing is the memory of the pleasure it brought to him.
Thank you for the giveaway!
