My favorite mini is the one I made 3 years ago for my husband for our 10th anniversary. I wrote our love story from a 3rd person's POV and it is so great. It starts with a page of us growing up (without each other) and says something like "once there was a girl and a boy" and moves to dating, engagment, wedding, babies etc. onl one page per event and it is great with all kids of mini books within. I will always love that book the most!

I forgot to tell you my favorite mini-book project ... or one I'm about to create. I'm in the middle of a 9x9 travel album, but I'm very excited about a mini book/journal I'm in preparation for. I've taken up running and I want to put the photos of me at every race I've been in along with my goals, time, thoughts and feelings. I plan to do the past three years and then keep adding on to it every year. I'm going to use a 7gypsies chipboard album and just keep it simple - photos + words. I can't wait to start!

Vacation would be an easy place to start.

I think my favorite mini books are the acrylic ones...I am excited for my first try with that. I used the travel KOTM that I loved and using different size pages...love that look!

I am planning a mini-book for my husband. Our 10th anniversary is in November and though I'm not the first one with this idea, I'm very excited about the project. This will be my first mini-book and have bought a couple of different ones to consider. Thanks for all the great inspiration!

After a recent article in CK I am planning a mini book with pictures and notes about our home. I think it will be super cool, years from now, for our son to see the house he lived in and what it was like. Thanks for the fun giveaway and thanks for all your time and great answers on all the Q&A posts.

I can't wait to get a copy of your new book! I am someone who has a ton of ideas, and I have trouble getting them down in larger layouts, so I think I am going to start with mini-books to ease my way in and gain some momentum to move onto larger projects.

Hi Ali - my first comment and I want to say love the blog. I also can't wait to see the new book. I recently completed a mini acrylic album of my oldest son becoming a Big Brother in Feb of 08 when my youngest was born. I did an "interview" with him and asked him questions about his interpretation of being a big brother. It was cute - given at the time he was just 6 but I will treasure it for a long time! Good luck with your pregnancy!

My favorite mini book project is a book of Encouragement scripture. It is an ongoing project that I started to help me cope with my health problems. I use favorite wildlife photos with the scriptures.

My favorite album that i have made so far is one actually inspired by you (surprise surprise). I made a shaped letter book out of HAPPY and i absolutely loved it. Cutting the pictures and clear acetate sheets into the letter shapes was time-consuming and I loved every minute of it. Thanks for all of your endless inspiration!

I am putting together an album of all that I love about the city we livein. The parks are amazing. I have come to appreciate how much they planned for people to enjoy living here and it has really helped me deal with the everyday stress.

I have a couple of mini books going right now. One is about our move from Arizona to Kentucky this summer, and the other is an album I call my 'blog album.' It has all the stories, photos and entrires from my blog in a smaller kolo album. It's fun to keep it up to date and my kids actually look through it instead of looking on the computer. They like that they can sit down with it.
congrats on the new book!

I'm working on ideas for my Pregnancy mini-book. Where I will put my pictures of my ever growing belly, my first maternity clothing, a copy of my ultrasound, and anything else that I come up with over the next 5 months. Hopefully I'll get it put together before the baby gets here because I seriously doubt I'll have time for that afterwards... :)
