Hi Ali
Congrats on your pregnancy! Thanks for the opportunity to win 1 of your new books! We just moved so I won't be doing any projects very soon BUT I would love to have the book for inspiration when I finally get all unpacked! Thanks again!

I made a minibook of my mom right after she had surgery to remove a portion of her lung due to lung cancer (and she's not even a smoker!). I wanted to document how proud I am to have her as my mom and just how strong she is to have gone thru the surgery and hold strong onto her faith throughout her recovery. It was the best project I've ever done!

Ok, so your projects inspired me to actually purchase a chipboard mini with 8 pages (10 if you count in the cover & back), so I am looking forward to making a page for each year my hubby & I have been hitched. LOL we celebrated 8 years and we have gone through many things each year of our marriage so this will capture all of those things in one place. If I can't get that to pull together then I will just do a celebration of the women in my life. :)

Hi Ali :)
I'd love a copy of your new book to go in my collection ;)
My fave mini i ever did was a "Love Notes" mini where I documented the most important people in my life, then wrote them each a private love note telling them exactly why they were so special to me.

I love mini-books and I'm so excited to see this new book!! My favorite mini-book I did last year was "things I see on the way to work". It was such a cool way to take something that I completely hate - 45 minute commute - and turn it into something beautiful. I took pictures at stop lights and of stuff in my car and it made me realize the drive is not so bad after all.

My favorite mini book project was one I did of my pregnancy. I had my midwife take a photo of me in the same position and spot at each of my appointments. In the end it was a really neat group of photos where you could see my belly growing!

Although I usually like to create mini books from "scratch", my favorite is one I bought as a kit (I think it was from Basic Grey). It tells the story of our family's vacation to Colorado! Love to look through it & see my boys on the mountains (probably because we don't have any mountains in Florida!).

Right now my favorite mini books are ones created using baseball card holders. They're super easy adn very durable so I can toss them into my purse and not worry about them getting beat up!

I just got done creating a mini-book about one of our favorite vacation spots. It's going to the Indiana Dunes each year--very relaxing and just time spent together with our little family. I was able to finish the book in just a weekend and it was so very fun and has become one of our favorites! I will definitely do a mini-book again!

How awesome to be giving away the new book. The most favorite mini album I have done was in the shape of an apron. All the pages where the apron shape as well. It was an accordian style held together with ribbon and each apron pocket contained a vintage recipe from my family tree. For example - the recipe the my Great Grandma was famouse for was German Chocolate cake, my Dad's mom's was Macaronie & Cheese etc. I made one for me & one for my mom as a remembrance of days gone by.
