I LOVE MINIS
just started a very small mini for my step dad...it's a chipboard house, I cut off the chimney then cut our a little doorway so it now looks like a dog house. Just maybe 4 pages it's the only pictures he will have of him and his dog. I think he will like it.
Your work is super inspiring. Keep it coming. AND congrats on the new addition!!

What a great giveaway! I have lots of favorite mini books. They're my favorite scrapbooks to make! I made one a few months back with a Cosmo Cricket blackboard album as a brag book of my son's year of preschool. He *loves* looking through it and thinks it is so neat that I made a book just about him! I also have another book that I made about my daugher ~ "Things I Love About You". It's not so much the book that I love as the journaling about her inside.
Thanks so much!! I hope I win :)

I think my favorite mini-album is one I did for my husband for Fathers Day 2007. I collected photos and did the journaling throughout the year so I wouldn't forget anything. I also did some of the journaling in Q&A style in the kids' own words - "what is the funniest thing Daddy does", etc... I was so happy with how it turned out and my husband LOVED it.
I use lots of pictures on my layouts so I struggle with 12x12. I got a DreamKutz system last year and have been doing way more minis than single page layouts these days and love it.
I would so love to win your book. If not, I'll pick it up at CKC Seattle!! :)

How exciting! I've never made a mini-book before, but I am planning on making one with some of my favorite family photos. Old treasured photos that deserve a special place! I'll get to tell the stories of each of the photos, so that when I have my own children and they have children, they'll be able to see the stories of all of the family members who came before them. Can't wait to see the book! I've loved all the inspiration from your other books. I know this one won't disappoint! Thanks for sharing your story and creativity with us!

My husband and I went to Hilton Head Island South Carolina this sumer with our best friends and their daughters. When we got back i made each girl their own mini-album (6x6) with all the same photo's except for a few that made the book personal to them. I was so proud of the end result and the girls absolutly love them. The youngest (2 years old) loves her's so much she looks at it every night before she goes to bed.

I've been waiting for this book for months!
My favorite mini-book project is the very first one I created when I got my first digital camera in 2004. I took a bunch of "studio" shots in the garage, ended up with some gorgeous pictures of my boys, and made a mini-book.
Thanks for the chance to win a copy.

Wow what an awesome giveaway!!!
I will admit that I first got into mini books a couple of years ago after attending some classes by a really cool instructor who was visiting Sydney with a couple of friends. My favourite was called "Today You" and I still have all 3 books I made. (ohh it just dawned on me that the instructor was you lol)
I know make lots of mini books about travel and milestones in our lives. They are great for DS to take to school for news.
Can't wait to get your new book! And even better if I win one. :-)

My favourite mini is the one I made last December. Undoubtedly inspired by yours. But mainly b/c it captures what happened in a crazy, crazy month - selling our house, my Dad's passing, end of school year here in Australia and then of course, Christmas. Lots of special stuff wrapped up in that little one!

I just finished a mini book about my four daughters called "the Lady Q's". The title is just a nickname that I use for them. The pictures are from our recent zoo trip.
I really can't say if I have a favorite though. I usually do one for my husband as part of his Christmas present. He will take it to work and bring home the one from the last year. It has kind of become a ritual. I always love making them.

I have an "in progress" mini-album of all the snowmen we have created...first as a dating couple, then as newly marrieds, on to all the snowmen with the kids....I am using an acrylic album, which is just perfect for the theme. I can't wait to see your new book!

Hi Ali, congratulations on the new baby to come! How exciting for everyone! I also understand that your sister is pregnant as well, it has truly been a great year for all of you.
I must admit I have only made one mini book and just for someone else and just haven't made one for myself, But I was thinking about making one to showcase pictures of my daughter, Lauren. I would love a copy of the book so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!!!
Thanks!
