I am so excited to see your book. My favorite mini book is one I did of the first year of my son and daughter's relationship as siblings... he was 3 and a half when she was born... it has lots of pictures of the two of them together! So sweet.

Actually, I just finished my first mini-album. I made a baby book for a co-worker that just had the most adorable baby girl. Now mind you, I haven't made one for my "baby" who is already 8 years old. I didn't start scrapping until she was 7, so I am working backwards!!!

My favorite is one I made six years ago for my husband for our 5th anniversary. We had been going through a difficult time and it reminded me why I fell in love with him in the first place.

My next mini book project will be of our recent, and first ever vacation in 23 years of marriage, to Cabo.
Can't wait to see the new book!!!

I have been craving a "songs stuck in our heads/hearts" album, and a collection of 5 generations of eating at Mo's. For some reason there's nothing like clam chowder and garlic cheese bread to inspire a family photo!

What a generous giveaway!
My favorite mini-book is an altoid tin sb that I had made in a class at a lss two and a half years ago. The theme was '10 Reasons I Love You'. I printed and adhered photos the next day. I drove it to a friend's house whose parents took it back with them that weekend so my bf's dad could pick it up and take it with him to NZ where my bf was working for a month. He had arrived in NZ the day after Valentine's Day, but it meant so much to my bf anyway.

Oooohhh, your new book sounds wonderful!! I bought all of the supplies to make a mini book over two years ago now. I had good intentions to make two mini books of my wedding. That never happened, so then I thought and bought different supplies to do one about my little boy. Yeah he is almost two now and I still haven't started. One day...sigh!!

I'm both happy and sad to say that my most recent mini album project has been a mini album (made of envelopes) celebrating my close group of girlfriends. One of them recently moved away and got married so I thought it would make a very special "We Miss You" package to her. I love mini albums mostly because there is both a spacific theme in mind when working on them, and there is also a very defined beginning and end. So THANK YOU ALI for the endless inspiration with all you do and create :)

I get so many postcards from people in my life that have gone somewhere...anywhere, that I decided to start a minibook of postcards... the one rule is that they have to have been sent FROM the place pictured on the front. No fair just bringing the postcard over from said place.
I hope I win I hope I win I hope I win.
p.s. congrats on the new little person... I'm right about where you are in weeks, maybe just a few ahead of you! YAY!!!!

I've never done a mini but I can't wait to give it a go. I'm still a newcomer to the world of scrap and have become so excited about all the possibilities.
Little by little I'm feeling like I can tackle all the photos that are not organised and it's not too late to journal something about them and get them sorted. Even if I don't remember every single detail I can keep it simple and say something.
I'm thinking of doing a September mini. It's my birth month and it happens to also be a really memory filled month - the yearly street fair in my hometown every labor day, back to school, mom's bday, first taste of fall which is my favourite season and the list goes on.

My favorite mini book project was an altered boardbook scrapbook for the Summer of 2006. Bright colors, fun memories, lots of texture.

Ali, I have recently come to explore your work a bit more in depth, and I really appreciate the simplicity of your philosophy. Especially since I work in a scrap. store and see women buy hundreds of dollars of "stuff" at one time. I am so excited about your book. The next album I am going to begin is my son's preschool album. He turns 3 on Wed. and had his first day at preschool today, so I am excited to record the stories to come. Thanks!

Hey Ali - great giveaway!!
My newest mini album is one that I am making right now. I am just beginning my first year of teaching, so I am documenting that! So far it is fun, I pre-made all of the months and it has simple pages, because I know, sometimes I just won't have time.

I'm excited about the new book because minibooks are my new favourite creatures. I moved to the US from England a year ago and it's been a wild ride so far. I want to make two mini books one for me about this journey and one for my darling father who lives in England. He still has the "minibooks" I made him when I was an itty bitty baby!

My favorite mini-book would definitely have to be the one I created for my dad last year for his 60th birthday. The whole family got together for the weekend (including all 7 siblings and all their families) for the first time in over three years. So i planned ahead of time and set up a photo studio. I caught everyone coming in the door and took their photo and had them fill out a card with questions like three things you have in common with dad, favorite things about him, etc. When I put the book together, I put the card one side with the persons photo on the other side. It was a lot of work to get all the photos taken and coordinate everything on the day I wish I was partying with the rest of the family, but I truly enjoyed the end product (and I know he did too).
