One of the things I look forward to the most during the holiday season is the cookie baking time I spend with my nieces. They are now 20 & 18 and still want to come to Aunt Kelly's house to bake cookies. How blessed am I!

I have to say the days my kids are home from school - I love doing Christmas-y things with them like decorating cookies and watching christmas movies... it's a great break from the routine of school...

My favorite part of the holiday is when the crazy busy part is over, and I'm sitting around the tree with my extended family. We open gifts one at a time to prolong the feeling. It is just my favorite time of the year.

The look on my kid's faces! Nothing can beat the pure excitement and happiness that radiates from them.
All the yummy food also, I'm pregnant this Christmas so I'm going all out, with out the guilt later!!

I'm most looking forward to decorating during the holidays. I love making our home look festive and I especially enjoy making my own decorations and ornaments because it just makes things more personal.

I'm looking forward to simple joys! I'm keeping everything low key and as simple as possible so we can actually enjoy the holiday and not get caught up in the frenzy!!

I would have to say that spending time with family tops my list. I also enjoy decorating the house for the holidays and sharing old Christmas traditions (along with starting some new ones).

I am looking forward to a 'retreat from the world' as we concentrate on the real reason for Christmas.

What I am looking forward to most is watching my overworked husband relax as he has a few days off work. That and the possibility of spending time with family - life gets in the way and family find it hard to be together so I wish for time with family too. x

Holy comments, batman. Oh well, you can't win if you don't try.
I am really looking forward to spending Christmas with my daughters, their husbands and my granddaughter. It is very seldom that we all manage to get together in the same house at the same time and Christmas is the one time we can count on. Everybody commits to being together no matter what.

I have two full weeks off at Christmas, so I am looking forward to being able to make gingerbread houses, cookies, and doing other fun holiday activities with my family -- without feeling totally stressed out about it!

I am most looking forward to seeing family! Especially with new babies due soon. I wish I lived closer to family. They are a huge part what makes the season so special.

Looking forward to experiencing Christmas with my son. It is his first Christmas and seeing it through fresh eyes really excites me. I am looking at the traditions of my husband's family & my family and picking the ones we want to continue for our little family unit. So looking forward to it all.

I am looking forward to cups of hot chocolate with heaps of marshmallows, building a snowman, and late night talks by the fire with a warm blanket and people I love.

My son is three, so Christmas is becoming "real" to him. I am most looking forward to visiting the Trail of Lights and Zilker Christmas tree here in Austin. Can't wait to see his face at the sight of all those displays.

I'm looking forward to my first Christmas with my son. Even though he's not going to know it's any different than any other day, I am excited for his first!
