After all the holiday busy-ness, I love the day after Christmas...everyone in the house is at peace...I can go out for a few post-holiday bargains and come home to a *usually* quiet and content family. Ahhhhh...

I'm most looking forward to being with my husband again. He's in Kuwait and has been for about 3 months now. I'll be going over at the end of November.

Just like you, we're adding to our family with our 3rd child. She's due right before Christmas, so that is what we're all looking forward to most this season.
PS...Loved the Green Mountain Diaper site. We are going with cloth and this site was really helpful particularly in educating the non educated when it comes to cloth diapers.
Thanks for all of the inspiration!

I'm looking forward to the peace of the season, and to learning how to fit that in to a hectic schedule! This will be my first season since having my children that I'll be working in the run up to Christmas (I'm training to be a teacher and will be on school placement in Nov/Dec) so I know that some adjustment is required by not just me, but our girls and my husband. I want to be able to take a moment regularly to re-connect with things so that I don't lose sight of the meaning and magic of Christmas.

Besides spending quality time with my family, which I think is the BEST part, I am looking forward to that happy feeling that everyone seems to have around that time of year. No matter what is going on, everyone just seems happier.

I am looking forward to seeing Christmas through my daughters eyes. This will be her 1st Christmas at home. She spent her 1st official Christmas in the NICU last year. It's amazing how far she has come. My husband and I are excited to share and start our family traditions with her.

Starting December 1st,in the evenings, my husband and I take turns reading an advent story aloud to our kids. This particular series has 3 books, and each book lasts the month. We cycle through the series every 3 years. The amazing thing? Our kids are now 16, 15, 13, and 9, and they STILL look forward to this! Many, many happy memories and lots of scrapbook pages! :)

this holiday season I spend hours daydreaming of the next holiday season b/c our little one will be here... so this year everything seems so "boring" because it's "just us." I'm lame to not appreciate just us... but I can't help but be excited for what's to come. I am due just a bit earlier than you are Ali... I hope you are feeling well these days.
