December Daily Giveaways: Elle's Studio + Evalicious

Everyone knows it rains every day, all year round here in the uk! But there's something special about December rain; the magical way the the glow of shop displays and strings of lights hung along the streets in town glitter and reflect in the puddles and wet pavements. I was lucky to get a DLSR from my partner this Summer and can't wait to try to capture the beauty of these reflections that enchant me every year with my new toy! xxx

I am looking forward to beginning to build our log cabin in the woods... we have been living in a camper for the past few months and cannot wait to get into our new home...

I'm looking forward to continuing the family traditions that have come from each of our families and the blends we've come up with ourselves. Also, getting to spend time with our extended family. I'm also looking forward to a new tradition my sister and I started last year...spending a day working together in the kitchen creating candies and cookies for our families and friends. We're already planning what we're going to make!

It will be my first Christmas after getting married in OUR first home with some family members and friends. I will try to bring Christmas traditions from my parents home (they live in Europe) to my own.

My oldest son, who just turned 11, has always liked having an artificial Christmas tree because that way we didn't "kill" a real tree because "that's wasteful." (He does have a small point, even though I explained to him that that's why they grow these particular trees...)
Well, I can't wait to go out with my two sons and husband and cut down a real tree this year. I prepared my oldest last year that this year, for the first time as a family, we were going to go out and cut down a fresh tree.
We'll see how it goes!
