Well, it's hard to believe that Halloween is in 2 days and then it's full swing into the holiday season. I hope to be early this year with the gift buying and preparing cards - ha! wishful thinking.:) Family time, Decorating the tree and trying to establish some traditions (like Snowflake Lane or Zoo Lights for my son who is 7. Congrats on making the top 1000.

The holiday's are such a wonderful time, and I always look forward to so many different things, but my three favorite are baking holiday cookies with my two sons, spending time with family, and my most favorite thing of all is on Christmas Eve when everyone has turned into bed, and I'm just turning in also for the night, there is something so special and peachful to realize that all your loved ones are tucked in safe and sound for the night. I always wonder what they are dreaming about, it's such a peachful time for me.

I love Christmas Eve! When we moved to Texas and didn't have any family here we started a tradition. We make cutout cookies Christmase Eve Day and pack up the car including hot cocoa and cookies and going to look at lights and listening to our favorite Christmas CD's. Now that our son's are grown they still enjoy this tradition and since they lead their own lives now we pretty much only see them on the 24th and 25th now. Take Care

i am most looking forward to the opportunity teaching my young children about the true meaning of christmas... not only through the story of christ's birth, but also by the way my husband and I choose to live our lives and reflect the love of jesus onto our family.

Dear Ali,
I am from Adelaide, Australia so Christmas time for me is about summer, and beach holidays rather than snow and jumpers. I love the build up to Christmas though with decorating the house, looking at Christmas lights and remembering the Christmas story. I hope to document some of my favourite Christmas traditions this year, to share with my niece and nephew when next I see them. And then on boxing day it is about watching the cricket and eating left overs before packing up to go to the coast for a few precious days. Thanks for sharing you creativeness with us all. It is the one blog I check each day and it keeps me thinking and creative! I a just waiting for my birthday present (my first digital camera) to be able to participate in your challenges more fully! The day in the life challenge is still in pieces at home, but I have the record and I will get it done! Maybe after Christmas with warm sea breezes...
thanks again

SO much amazing inspiration here on your blog! WOW! I am so going to do this!! :) I can't wait to get started!
I really look forward to this Christmas. Last year I had a month-old baby and we couldn't afford any gifts... this year things are still tight, but looking better. I know that it won't matter what we get my daughter (her name is ALLIE!!)... all that matters to me is documenting the little things we do. You bet I'll have that camera out ALL. THE. TIME. There is something magical about December and I love everything about it!
