I can't wait to see my boyfriend and bake some cookies with my mom! Being a college student in a long distance relationship is pretty stressful...but can't wait for holiday break! Woot!

I have been practicing Christmas carols on the piano and my 3 youngest grandchildren are practicing singing along, so that we can perform for the rest of the family! I love all the little meaningful moments at Christmas time, and that is what I am most looking forward to.

How fun! I'm just excited to spend time with my husband and kids at home. We really enjoy our school-free, work-free time...especially with great food and new toys!

Something I look forward to most is spending time with family without the stress of work or school. We can stay in our jammies all day and enjoy each others company. Definitely a favorite.

I'm most looking foward to our annual trip to the ocean to do our holiday baking. It's such a fun family tradition and a really close second if not first =) would be my daughters 1st birthday...two days before Christmas!

I am looking forward to decorating and having my granddaughters around a LOT. One is going to be 11 months old and she will really excited about the lights, etc. It is going to be so much fun! I had already been thinking about keeping a journal from Thanksgiving til New Year's Day. Those goodies sure would be fun to play with!!

Love your blog. I have been checking it out regularly for awhile now. This is my first comment though. I am loving watching the progress of the December Daily Album. Over the holidays I am really looking forward to the slower pace. Time to be creative and be with family and friends.

Thanksgiving is actually my favorite holiday. I work in a school, so this holiday gives me an entire week off with my own kids to prepare for Christmas. Thanksgiving day is so low key and fun - just food and family with lots of games and laughter. I can't wait!

I cannot wait for my kids to come home!! We have 3 in college now and I have not adjusted well to my empty nest! Can't wait to have the hustle & bustle back of kids destroying my house and eating everything in sight!

Like many families, we have holiday traditions:
-church, finger foods, games and 24 hrs of The Christmas Story on Christmas Eve,
-the kids play the elves and pass out gifts on Christmas morning,
-my favorite...we open gifts one at a time so we can enjoy each person's reaction.

The look on my boys' faces with all the decorations and traditions in store for the holiday season! Each year it gets more and more exciting and I'm trying to hold on to each moment because I know that a time will come soon where they won't get excited because it isn't cool ;)

    Wow, what yummy goodness!!
My favorite thing about Christmas is seeing the smiles on my family's faces when they open that present that was handmade just for them, or the one thing that we searched all over town for that was super important. Since we don't have tons of presents under the tree, I like to make the ones there as personal as possible.

My favorite thing to look forward to is my annual Christmas shopping trip with my two older sisters and my 94-year-old mom (she is remarkable!). We load into the car, go to a local mall, and pick out our gifts from eachother. Then we go back to my mom's house and wrap them. By Christmas, we can't remember what we picked out so we are surprised. The best times on the trip revolve around all the great, silly pictures we take that end up in Christmas cards, gifts, and scrapbooks!!
