I am looking forward to going home to Connecticut for the holidays. I only get to see my parents a few times a year, so I treasure them when they occur.

My son is 14 months so this will be his second Christmas, but his first where he is beginning to be actively engaged in everything. I am most looking forward to starting some great Christmas traditions with him. Some from me, some from my husband, and some brand new ones we are starting! I always love the holiday season, but this year I am excited to take a different view and see it all through my sons eyes. It's a free chance to be a kid again!!!

I simply love the "mood" of everyone around the holiday season. Everyone seems a little bit happier, more friendly and more giving. I think the magic of the season, for both adults and children, just warms our hearts.

I love Christmas. Because of the wacky hours and days my husband works we start decorating the weekend before Thanksgiving. I am especially looking forward to this year because my youngest will be old enough to really enjoy the holidays. I love seeing through both of my girls eyes and see how they react to all of it. I am so very blessed.

I am looking forward to the magic of Christmas with our new nephew. He will be just a bit over 1 year--we love to have little ones around. Our youngest in 10 so it's been awhile. Of course, our 10 year old is still believes so that is fun too. We both work in the school system (DH a teacher, me and Admin Sec) so we will have 2 wonderful weeks to spend with our family.
Got my papers together last night for my December album--now going to do "bling" and things tonight. Can't wait!

Traditions & Family & Shopping!
The Christmas season is so full and rich with traditions and we like to revisit them each year, keep some old & add in some new.
On another note, I have been pulling together my December Daily album and am loving the process. Thanks for the inspiration! You are the BEST!

I simply cannot wait to start listening to holiday music. It is my favorite part of the season. I usually burn 1 or 2 cds and fill my ipod with songs and listen to the music from November to early January. I'm such a sucker for Burl Ives and Bing Crosby!

This year I've made a decision to enjoy the time leading up to the holidays. Before they are over. Normally we take time off after Christmas (25 to the 1st for example) but this year I've decided to also enjoy the week leading up to Christmas. And to try not to be so rushed at everything.
I'm also really looking forward to doing a little project with a photo a day for December and putting it together like your album. I've never it before and hope I can stick to it.

For me the holidays means making our days special with little presents with a funny and/or teasing poem. The poems usualy reflect on things happening in the past year. This year it will be 5 years ago when my husband and I met for the first time. And maybe this year we will go camping around Christmastime and hoping it will be a white one.
