What I am most looking forward to is taking in how my 5 and 6 year old boys gaze in wonder at the lights and other decorations. i love that they remind me the beauty is in the small things of the season. i am also very excited beacause my youngest will be 18 months and am so looking forward to see what he marvels at the most this holiday season. thanks for all the inspiration, ali.

This Christmas will be different than any other. I am looking forward to hopefully going home with a healthy son. Right now my 13 year old son and I are staying in St. Louis as he waits for a heart transplant. My husband and 15 year old daughter are back in Iowa.
We hope to have the transplant done and that he is recovered so we can be home for the holidays.

I am just looking forward to spending time with my children and savoring every moment. This is my last year with both of my babies at home with me full time and I just want to make the most of it from baking cookies to decorating the tree to doing Christmas crafts... just making sweet memories!

We moved to the West Coast (southern az.-HOT!) this year so I am curious to see what the Christmas season brings here in the way people decorate their homes, trees and yards. The landscape is SO different. Also trying to work some new traditions in to our family for my boys. Oh, and of course, the cookies!!

My husband and I don't have kids and we don't live very close to our immediate relatives, so our neighbors take pity on us. They invite us over and include us in their family celebrations. My favorite one is the night they get together and make a yummy snack mix called 'scrabble' to give away to all the people they know (and to eat!). It's a long process, so we play cards, eat, help cook and just have a blast. It's fast becoming my favorite holiday tradition! Cheers.

I live for Christmas cookie baking season! My tradition kicks off the day after Thanksgiving when I bake my first batch (always Mexican wedding cookies) and don't stop until a few days before Christmas when the gift trays are made and delivered. My children look forward to the annual gingerbread cookie decorating night. It is a mess but we come out with fabulous and unique cookies and lots of memories.

I'm looking forward to all the wonderful smells of Christmas - cinnamon, nutmeg, baking, mince pies, spiced apple, fresh pine. I'm also looking forward to being able to spend the whole day crafting with my kids while singing Christmas carols at the top of my voice, lol.
I love the inspiration I'm getting from your December album already.

I am most looking forward to sll the shopping, wrapping, and general mania that goes along with Christmas. I am also going to Vegas the first part of the month, so I am looking forward to seeing how the hotels and shops decorate for Christmas. It should be fun, and will make for a great addition to my December Daily scrapbook.

All of my relatives gather, from near and far, for our annual family Christmas party. I so look forward to seeing all of them, and the smiles, the hugs, the laughter and stories, the new babies, the growing kids, feeling the warmth, the love, the peace. The day goes by much too quickly but provides precious memories that I draw upon for the entire year.

I am looking forward to spending time with family and hopefully reaping the rewards of my pledge to myself to slow down and really enjoy the sights and sounds and smells of the season.
