what you are most looking forward to during the upcoming holiday season......I am looking forward to our FIRST MARRIED CHRISTMAS. My husband and I were married in April of 2008 after his spending 19 years alone and me 16 years alone. Your blog is a blessing Ali!

I love all the preparations around the house and the building excitement in my kids... although it does become kind of a frenzy during that last couple of days before the 25th!

I am looking forward to spending some great quality time with my mom who will be visitng and make christmas cookies with her.

My favorite part of the Holiday season is Thanksgiving weekend. The whole season is laying out there before us. It is the Tree getting, santa visiting, decorating weekend. The BEGINNING of the Wodnerful season.

the best part of the holidays is spending time with extended family who come in from out of town, the rush of the Christmas shopping season (yes i actually enjoy that part), and seeing my kids so excited on Christmas morning.

I am most looking forward to Christmas morning when all the work is done and I can relax and enjoy my family.

I'm really looking forward to spending time with my husband as this will be our last Christmas just the two of us :)

i most look forward to ...my 5 year old really getting into it more, like they do as they get older, but are still little :)

My mom is very ill and it is quite possible this will be her last Christmas with us. I am looking forward to cherishing every moment with her and looking foward to documenting this special holiday so that my young daughter will have these memories to look back upon.

I am looking forward to my husband's first Christmas sermon. He decided in the last year to become a pastor and is a student pastor at a church while he is in seminary. I can't wait to hear him preach the Christmas Eve sermons, having my family here for that will make it even better.

With my little girl celebrating her 3rd Christmas, she is more aware of what is going on and I look forward to sharing that magic with her.

Honestly, it's time off of work to create during the middle of the day! I want to make lots of fun decorations for the house. Heck, I just want to decorate the house!!!

What can beat making Christmas cookies with your kids? And I'm talking a full-blown week's worth of baking! Our family tradition, starting with my grandma and mom, has been to set aside a week for nothing but baking. Grandma and mom are gone now, but my 16 and 12-year-old boys (yes, BOYS) love to carry on this family tradition!

I am looking forward to spending time with my family and relaxing!
