For us, it's all about family. This year we are fortunate enough to fly across the country to spend the holidays with my parents, my brothers and sister-in-law and their soon-to-be adopted new babe. My kids can't wait!!

I most look forward to time off from work, lazy days at home with my family & the coziness inside the house. I can't wait to see my son's reaction to all of the holiday decorations, the tree, the lights & the presents. He'll be 2 this Christmas & so much more aware of what's going on. It's going to be great! Ooooh, I'm getting all excited! :)

We've 'officially' started our relationship on Christmas eve in 2003 with my boyfriend. This year it'll be our 5th anniversary and our first Christmas together in our very own home. I hope it'll be magical. Really looking forward to celebrate it. :)

My girls are getting older now..14 and 10 and I am really looking forward this year to helping them understand the true meaning of christmas. It's about spending time with the people you love not just the wrapped packages under the tree. It's not about immediate gratification.. but giving more and expecting less. I feel a great need this year to appreciate what we have already been given. Each Other.

This year we have decided to give only hand made gifts. I'm so looking forward to not doing the big store/mall shopping and I'm really looking forward to seeing what we all make. Such fun that will be.
Cheers,
Sara

Thanks Ali for all th generous giveaways! What I look forward to the holiday season after the hustle and bustle(which I secretly love too) is slowing down the pace and just enjoying family and friends without the normal hectic day to day routines (sports, etc.) of every day life.

This holiday season, I most look forward to spending time with family. Cozy family nights of watching holiday movies and having popcorn, playing games together, reading Christmas stories, all by the glow of the Christmas tree lights. Gets me in the holiday spirit just thinking about it.

I am soooo looking forward to this holiday season. To start it off right, I am due to give birth to our first child at the beginning of December. Sharing Christmas with our child will bring a whole new joy to the season.

I am looking forward to the creative process of making meaning this holiday season. Every year is different, has a different flavor, and I'm anticipating the joy of the celebrations, as well as the fun of recording those joyful gatherings.
Thanks for the question, Ali!

This year I'm most excited to see how my soon to be 2-year old reacts to the holiday lights and decorations and gifts. We're also looking forward to spending a great deal of time with our families (and welcoming a new member to our extended family shortly before Christmas).

My favorite part of the holidays is seeing everything through the eyes of my kids. Every year their favorite things change and I love seeing them grow and learn the true meaning of Christmas. Thanks, Ali! I took all of my pictures last week and documented and now I can't wait to start my Week in the Life Book. I'm also excited about a December book. I so appreciate your inspiration.

It's my first holiday season with my boyfriend...And unlike last year, in which I had to work through the holidays, I get to spend both Thanksgiving and Christmas with him and his family...Baking, eating, football watching, presents, the entire bit. I am incredibly blessed. :)

We have decided, with both sides of our extended family, to cut back on gifts, making homemade (looking forward to my mother-in-laws famous jam) if we can. Last night my husband and I were already sighing with relief at the thought of not spending hours rushing around from store to store looking for imperfect gifts- more time to spend with the people we love is our gift to ourselves this year.
