This Christmas, my sister after years of unhappiness, has a new love whom we all love too. I am looking forward to welcoming him into the family and sharing the spirit of the season with both of them.
(PS Please please please pick me!)

I am the most excited to see what my kids get excited about. They are 5 and 2. This year will really be about letting them direct the activities we do. I am so excited to see what they decide and how they like it!

Just being able to spend time with family and friends is my absolute fave! I also make a DVD slideshow with music for my large extended family that we all watch on Christmas Eve while we eat dessert. Everyone sends me photos throughout the year and it's so fun to remember all of the great times as we watch and laugh.

I'm looking forward to sharing my first pregnancy excitement with everyone. And being in the mood to get a real tree again this year after just decorating a one-foot fake one last year.

Oh, how exciting. The thing I am most looking forward to is getting to see my family again. We generally only see each other 2-3 times a year, so I really look forward to each Christms. Thanks for the chance to win some great candy!

The favorite thing I am looking forward to this holiday season is having some extra time to decorate the house and help my hubby make a train display for our living room. Can't wait!

Where do I start....Making memories is always a lot of fun! Every year we start the season off on the first weekend of December to get a tree at the tree farm. After cutting a tree, we go into the shop for apple cider, homemade doughnuts and then the kids each pick a new oranament to add to the collection. This is just the beginning to many of our family traditons for the month of December.

I am most looking forward to family coming home for the holidays, and to teach my daughter the story of Christmas, the real reason we celebrate this wonderful holiday and gifts, for the first time.

The best part of the holidays is spending time with family. This year one of my brothers and his family as well as possibly both of my sisters. It is going to be fun!

I'm looking for the special time with my family. Time to bake goodies and cuddle up by the fire with some warm cocoa.

We are surprising our family by moving home! We currently live in Germany and have known since April that the Army is moving us back home in early January 09. Not one person in our family has any idea and we (my husband, 4yr old, 2yr old and 2 month old) can barely contain our excitment after being away for 4 long years. What joyous moments it will be when we show up on their doorstep to say, not only 'SUPRISE WE ARE HERE' but 'SURPRISE WE AREN'T LEAVING!'. This is going to be the most amazing holiday surprise ever and I can NOT wait!

I am looking forward to going to Las Vegas to spend our first Christmas with my son, daughter-in-love and two little grandchildren. We will get to spend some quality time during the best time of the year, baking, shopping, snuggling and sharing their traditions. I am of course, taking my December Daily album to complete!!
Thanks, Ali, for making that possible:)

Relaxing in the mountains at the cabin we have been remodeling over the last few months after years of dreaming of it's potential.
Also, very excited about introducing our 4 year old son to skiing for the first time this year!

I can't wait to be with family and create some of our own traditions for my own family this year. Our son is a little older and will really love Christmas this year....I want to make the holidays great and memorable for him and create some traditions that he will remember and want to continue on his own some day!

This holiday, I am looking forward to enjoying some peace with my family. I am a public school teacher, and enjoy having that time off to spend with my own two children! Every year I say I'm going to scrapbook, but I never do. I love the idea of this album, though, and having it done ahead of time would allow me to complete the project while on break!!
Thanks, Ali!

I am looking forward to downsizing Christmas this year. It is something I want to teach my children. Christmas is soooo much more than the consumer hoopla. This is of course easier said than done.
But I want to enjoy Christmas- just for Christmas.
