What i am most looking forward to this holiday season is having my husband home for December. In the past few years he has taken a one month job out of town leaving Nov.23-Dec.23. This year he will be in town!! Seriously happy about this!

I am looking forward to the first holiday season with my husband. Since this is our first we are going to start our own traditions that we can pass down to our children someday.

The birth of my new nephew.

Using the Dec 25 album I am going to make, having time off of work to create, family get togethers, my niece graduating from boot camp and a family reunion/80th birthday party for my uncle.

I am looking forward to so many things, but I think the biggest is the fact that after THREE long years of building our home, we will finally be in it in time for Christmas this year!! Can't wait!!

I love getting out all of my children's old Christmas ornaments that they made all of the years they were in school. They are 18 and 20 now and just roll their eyes at me when I take them all out and tell stories about them....but I know they secretly love that I have kept them and cherish them so!

For this holiday season, I am most looking forward to spending time with family that live far away! for both Thanksgiving and Christmas! What a wonderful end of year.

The thing I'm most looking forward too, is taking time this year to slow down and enjoy the holiday season with my husband and kids.
In the past, the holidays became one long to due list. While I was recovering from a serious illness this summer, I realized that life is just so short. I don't want my kids to look back and remember that Mom was frazzled all the time. I want them to remember how much fun we had as a family.

I love stay-home days with my kids where we are not ruled by the clock. We can just stay home and cook, play, and stay in our pjs.

I am most looking forward to being with friends and family and focusing on the true meaning of Christmas, which has nothing to do with material things and everything to do with the spiritual. I cannot wait to share stories of the past Christmases with these people and make new memories which I will, of course, be recording for scrapbooking later.

I look forward for my child's first Christmas ! He will celebrate his 6 months' birthday on December 25th !!! No need to say he will have lots of gifts !
