The two things that I am looking forward to most... cold weather and baking Christmas cookies! I live in southern California and the weather here is still in the 90's! I'm SO ready for sweaters and long pants! And who can resist the sweet smell of freshly baked cookies???

I am most looking forward to ENJOYING the season, in the moments it holds. I am entering the season organized and simplified so that I'm not stressed. I'm spending time only on things that I LOVE about the season so that I can enjoy it and not be scurrying around like a crazy person.

Christmas is my most favorite time of the year. I love the decorations and the true meaning of Christmas and sharing it with my family. This year will be especailly fun because we had a baby in January and it'll be his first Christmas!!! Oh, what fun!

I look forward to sitting in the darkened living room looking at the lights on our Christmas tree (and maybe drinking some eggnog or apple cider or hot chocolate...).

Being able to have my son home with us this Christmas. Last year he spent it in Iraq (he's a Marine), and all we got him and sent him there for Christmas was Under Armor gear. That's all he wanted, needed, and could really have. It will be SO wonderful to have him home this Christmas, and exchange fun gifts! :)

I am so looking forward to being in the moment with both of my boys - aged 4 and 1 and with my husband. We are going to simplify this year with less travel and busy days and that fills my heart with joy! I can't wait to see the boys awe at Christmas lights, sip hot cocoa with my older one, watch the Grinch Who Stole Christmas and have some good times. I also hope to follow along with this book, but I have not had a chance to start it yet- maybe this weekend!

I'm looking forward to going home. Christmas is one time a year I get to go home and spend 2 weeks with my whole family, and this year is my little girl's first Christmas so I'm excited to see her light up during the festivites.

I know it's cliche...but definitely looking forward to family getting together. We are getting together with my in-laws this year...my brother-in-law just returned from a year and half tour in Iraq and it will be special to reunite with him.

The absolute best part about the holidays without a doubt is seeing my children crawl outta bed on Christmas morning and see the tree overflowing with presents...soo fulfilling!

I love everything about the holiday season. The music, the smells, the baking, the laughter, the excitement...most of all though, I love the family get togethers and watching my kids' excitement as we carry on our traditions

I am looking forward to watching my children enjoy everything the holiday season has to offer. My 6-year old knows what to expect and is so excited. This year my 1-year old will be able to participate in the joy more than last year as an infant. I can't wait to see my 6 year old teach her baby brother all about the holidays. It will give me a chance to see what the holidays are in her eyes.
