My favorite part of the holiday is decorating the house and the tree with cookies baking in the oven and a light snow falling outside listening to Bing Crosby singing "White Christmas."

I love baking during the holidays making things I don't usually make and filling the house with yummy smells.

The hope and magic of the Christmas season, especially with a 2, 4, 6 and 8-year-old. I'm hoping my oldest makes it through one last season believing in Santa.

I really look forward to the food, the traditions, but more than anything else is the advent mood. I can't really describe it, but it is just soooo romantic. Being together with the family and enjoying the holidays is the BEST!!!!

I'm looking forward to being done shopping by the end of November: this is my new goal.
And then I can spend Thanksgiving weekend doing my cards and decorating the way I intend to each and every year!!!

Looking forward to lots of things ... the vacation, the arrival of a new niece, decorating my tree and banister in our new house.

My older sister is pregnant with her first child, and I can't wait to fly and see her and her baby belly at Christmas! (She's due in January)

I'm definitely looking forward to getting some decorations up around the house and just trying to sit back and enjoy the last few weeks of just being a family of 2! There is so much that we can't plan on this year so I'm just trying to play it all by ear and relax! :)

Christmas this year will be bitter sweet. I love sending time with my family, decorating the tree, singing carols and waiting for Santa. This year will be twinged with sadness as it will be our first Christmas without Shelby, who we lost on the 1st January. She was here such a short time (9 weeks). But throughout the Christmas season we will think of her everyday and pray that she is looking down on us, smiling from above.

Probably the decorating and picture taking. I'm going to shop early and just enjoy December and the Christmas season.

My favorite part of the holidays is just the feeling I get when the house is decorated, my children are chattering about Santa, yummy treats just came out of the oven and we are listening to holiday music--that is what I can't wait for!

I love to decorate the house and bake but my very favorite thing is getting to see my son. With his working and living far away from us, I do so enjoy his visits. Happy holidays to everyone!

My kids are at a wonderful age this year to enjoy the season -- age one and three. I can't wait to see them experience the magic of Christmas another year.

I'm looking forward to our son really understanding Christmas this year. He is six and has autism as well. We have been talking about Santa and such and he is getting excited!! There are days that this is the only thing he wants to talk about. LOL! I am SO looking forward to putting up the tree and lights, decorations... and the wonderful smells that the holidays bring!!!
