The Tradition for sure. I love the preparation, shopping, making my Christmas cards, participation in “Return to Bethlehem” at Church and making cookies. I am one of those weird people that thrive on the Holiday stress, I just Love it!

I am looking forward to spending time with my family during the holidays! Our youngest daughter just got married so we have a new son-in-law. Of course our two and a half year old granddaughter and other daughter and son-in-law will be extremely fun too!

This has been quite a year for me. First off, I got married in June. And, ever since then work, for both my husband and me, has simply been crazy. This Christmas, I am most looking forward to some couple time and the chance to make some new tradtions.

I'm going to try to do the December Daily album this year, so I'm looking forward to being in the moment, rather than getting caught up in all the have-to-do's of daily life.
Thanks for posting all the pics and ideas. It's really helping me put together my own album.

I'm looking forward to time with kids; baking, decorating, presents, church, programs, lights. It's all so much more wonderful through the eyes of my kids.

i love going on our Christmas morning hike. We open our handmade presents in the morning (and now the ones from Santa, too), eat breakfast, load into the car (including our dog), and just walk in the woods near our house, enjoying the snow. It always seems extra sparkly on Christmas.
Thanks for sharing, it's so wonderful to read everyone's responses.

Enjoying the moments, recording the moments with camera and journaling, spending time with my sweetheart & 91 1/2 year old father-in-law, the cozy atmosphere, vacation from teaching 25 second graders, being grateful for the real reason for Christmas.

Love your blog! We just adopted two cats who are very very curious :)! They will not be ready for a tree and all the trimmings this year. So I'm looking forward to creatively decorating the house that is cat proof. Alternate type of tree? Paper or chipboard ornaments, my mind is whirling with all the possibilities! But most of all I'm looking forward to time spent with family and friends.

I think it is the opportunity to create. Be it creating presents, cookies, decorating the house, or baking with my son. In my family we try to make things for each other rather than just buy presents. Each year I have tried to make something different and unique- a fun and challenging project. This year we are encouraging our son to do the same. He has an arts & crafts book of animals and we are making many of the projects each of the weekends. He is picking a project and a family member to make it for. He is very excited about this process- a true sense of the spirit of Christmas!

My husband is a school teacher, so most of all I look forward to over a week of vacation together to do whatever we please with no schedules...travel to see family, sleep in, cook big breakfasts, spend hours on the floor playing with toys w the kids. I can hardly wait!

I'm just excited about christmas again this year! Last year I was so down about christmas as I had an almost 3 year old and a 6 month old to deal with, and christmas was not an overly joyous experience for me.
This year I can't wait til we put up the tree and decorate the house, leave milk and cookies out for santa and have a good old fashioned aussie bbq!

    Ali,
The thing I'm most looking forward to this Christmas season...easy...slowing down and enjoying it. Spending time with my family, dancing around the Christmas tree, baking with the kids. I love the season for all those reasons.
Thanks for the chance to win. I've been thinking about putting together a December Daily (was really inspired by yours).

    Those kits look WONDERFUL.
I'm most looking forward to going home! This semester has been a very crazy one for me (and getting crazier as we speak), and I think I'll be home for 2 days at Thanksgiving and that's it...until Christmas. I'm looking forward to hot chocolate with my mom, The Grinch with my little sister, apple pie with my grandma. It's going to be wonderful. :)

Since last Christmas I have been much more aware of recording the STORIES of our lives rather than just documenting events. This holiday season I look forward to experienceing our holiday traditions from a new perspective and recording them so that we can remember the stories of the day, not just a calendar of events. I look forward to decorating our new home, baking cookies and listening to Christmas Music. Just love the holiday season!!

Counting my blessings...my incredible family, the friends that we "do life together" with, the comforts of my home, a fire burning in my fireplace, delicious smells coming from my kitchen, celebrating the birth of Christ and what it really means.
