    Hi Ali! :)
My favorite part this year is going to be watching my daughter on Christmas morning. She's about to be 3 and just old enough to really get Christmas and what it's all about so I just can't wait to see the joy in her eyes. :) Thanks for the chance to win some goodies!! :)

My favorite thing about the holidays? This may sound corny but I just love the sense of love and peace that is more prevalent..and shared...people are just kinder, smile more and hug! Love the hugs...
Wow!!! Look at those gorgeous goodies! Thanks for the links...

    YUM...YUM...YUM...those giveaways are awesome!
I look forward to reminding my children that Christ is the reason for the season. They loved the countdown we did last year and are so excited to do it again. I love all the magic of the season. Really what is not to love about it I look forward to it all!! Danielle

So many things - being at home for the holidays rather than flying across country, sharing new traditions with my children, baking, decorating, bedtime stories by the Christmas tree with peppermint hot cocoa.

Spending time with family and friends. I think we spend more time thinking about and trying to show how much we care about our loved ones in the holiday season.

I'm looking forward to cutting down our TREE and decorating it - I love the smells of the Holidays. We love snow shoeing with our dog Jade and just hanging out with family

I don't usually enter drawings- but I needed this exercise this year.
My 6 year old daughter has figured out Santa- this year I plan to involve her in the picking of the presents for her younger sister. I love buying/giving gifts for/to our loved ones. I am excited to share the joy of giving with her and seeing the joy of magic in my 3 year old. We will have hard lessons this year as my husband is laid off with no job in the near future (he's an Architect). Each gift will be carefully thought out and parents will be excluded. I hope to teach my children that it isn't how much we get but the thought and love that go into each item.
I wish you all the luck with your growing family and Happy Holidays!
    Sidney

Well we got our first bit of snow yesterday (it actually stayed on the ground). So I guess I will be enjoying the snow. Love playing outside in it with the kids, especially around 5pm when it gets dark and we can toboggan by Christmas lights.

I thought of Elle's Studios tags yesterday when I was reading your post about the daily album, glad to see them here too! For the upcoming holiday season, I am looking forward to one of my best friends coming to visit me since I've moved, and experiencing winter in NC rather than MN!

I love to spend a December day going for a winter walk in the mountains, all wrapped up in scarves and hats and gloves. And then coming home for hot chocolate and Christmas cookies.

I am looking forward to celebrating the holidays in MY home this holiday season rather than traveling out of town. This is a first! It seems we are always on the road during the holidays and this year they are all coming to us!

I love getting together with my friends and making gifts for our families. I love knitting scarves and baking cookies and making ornaments for the tree. All these things get me in the holiday spirit!

What I am most looking forward too, is somewhat sentimental. On Christmas Day when we get to my husbands grandparents before we open gifts, Grandpa always reads the christmas story from his Bible. The realization Gpa won't be here forever has started to sink in, and I am going to record him this year, so we can have it forever. He is such a wonderful example.

I'm most looking forward to the Macy's Day Parade on Thanksgiving morning, and spending my one year anniversary with my husband on December 1st. Which would be a great day to start a holiday journal!
