Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We celebrate fall with smells of the season - pumpkin spice candles in the kitchen/family room area, pumkin/cinamon muffins, Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes, and baking pumpkin seeds from carved pumpkins. Love the smells and flavors of Fall.

we walk in the woods or take a hike to see the changing leaves, we visit the apple orchard and pick apples and we go to "harvest day" at a local farm for pumpkins and cider. as my 20-somethings would say, "it's all good!"

We celebrate with a corn maze trek, picking out pumpkins, bonfires, tailgaiting at football games, smores, hot chocolate, hot apple cider sweetened with red hot candies, popcorn and movies, reading good books together and leaf pile jumping....just to name a few. :)

Love Fall! A daily, crisp, cool morning walk, friends for lunch to enjoy hearty bread with Gouda cheese, cobb salad, and mulled cider. Then take in Patriots football game in the evening. Perfect fall day.
Or a crisp 5K road race, followed by an Irish coffee near a fireplace, then a search for a large beautiful pumpkin!

Fall is a favorite season in our home! It begins with birthdays and ends with birthdays; with Fall decorations throughout our home... This year our grown kids have each come by with a new decoration to add to our collection - LOVE FALL!!!

We go for lots of walks in the brisk air and I make a costume for my son. We cut wood, buck it, split it and stack it so that we have it to keep us cozy on those cold cold days of winter. And this year we've added in flag football for our my son.

My kids know it's "fall" when I start closet-cleaning!! Everything must be sorted, tried on, repurposed, salvaged or donated. I LOVE IT! My husband knows it's "fall" when I start cooking soups. All kinds - stews, stoups, chilis, etc. I could live on anything that comes from a crock-pot. I know it's "fall" when it's cool enough here in AZ to light candles during the day. Love the pumpkin-y/vanilla ones! Ahhhhhhhh
CHEERS!

Living in South Florida the only signs I experience are slightly cooler temperatures and several churches have pumpkin patches.

I am fortunate to live in an area surrounded by forests. One of my favorite ways to celebrate fall is to spend time in the woods when the aspens are changing. There are some areas which absolutely take my breath away, with the contrast between the crisp reds and golds against the backdrop of evergreens. I can't spend enough time there.

We celebrate fall with Thanksgiving. In Canada it comes a little earlier so it is just in time for a wonderful family gathering, colored leaves and that fresh crisp smell on the air that only happens in the fall. It was also my nephew's first birthday and he took his first few steps while everyone watched...of course, he realized we were watching and promptly sat down...lol.

We decorate the house, go for long walks to smell the Autumn, cook seasonal foods, dress up on Halloween at our fancy dress party - the whole works ;)

I celebrate it by taking it all in-taking pics of the colorful trees and leaves, going to fall festivals, and of course, decorating my place with fall decor! :)

I take pictures of my 2 year old in all the leaves. We go to a corn maze and pumpkin festival every year. I love fall candles and baking! But mostly I love "hoodie" weather (don't have to suck in my gut)

I love celbrating fall by taking drives through the country with no destination. I usually stop and buy pumpkins & gourds from people selling them off a hayrack on their farm (no big pumpkin patches for me). And of course I bake anything & everything that has apples in it. Last weekend was Apple Muffins.

I live in FL so our fall is different than the traditional orange leaves and pumpkins. Here fall means lower temps so you can open the windows and turn off the AC. For me, it means treating ourselves with candles that smell like cinnamon, apples and pine trees. All the smells that take us back to old fashioned falls. Lighting candles and relaxing together = Fall.
