Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Fall around our home finds us gathering wood, finishing home-improvement projects,
simple "soup-and-bread" suppers, and listening to the geese as they fly by.

Hmmm, fall, I do love it so. Pick apples, break out the sweaters, make hot cider, plan costumes, rake leaves, get the Chritmas card picture by Halloweeen and I am so happy. Carve pumpkins, BOO neighbors and this year do a lot of canvassing for a very improtant election

Fall is our time for just being outside. We live in an area of the country that is really hot in the summer so fall is a welcome temperature break. We live in the mountains so we take long walks and drives and watch nature turn colors.

We are planning to join our friends for a flag football game before the Thansgiving meal. Parents vs. the kiddos. Should be amazing fun!

Fall is probably my favorite season. It's also a very busy time for me, with October hosting my birthday and (Canadian) Thankgiving. There's also something about finally grabbing that cuddly throw on the sofa and wanting to use it. We get out our "harvest Decorations", turn the pilot light back on the fireplace, and make sure we have a good supply of yummy vanilla scented candles strewn about the house, to fill it, with a nice, comforting scent!

Hi Ali
After long hot summers in Phoenix, we celebrate fall by being outside as much as possible. Riding bikes, taking walks and lounging on the patio watching my kids play. We are still waiting for the truly cool weather! It is supposed to be 94 degrees today! Thanx!

We always go to a little apple farm and enjoy the day picking apples and berries. For Halloween, we do a haunted garage. DH and our kids stage the garage with scary stuff and music. It's a big production and we also get lots of volunteer help from neighborhood kids who will even for go trick-or-treating. We even had a Dad from up the street ask if he could help too!

where i live, we really do not have traditional seasons and so we have to "make" our own fall. i decorate the house with leave garlands and pressed prints and pumpkins and gourds. during halloween, we had the ghouls, witches, spiders, and skeletons.
i burn candles with the smells of the season and i make many harvest meals - lots of things made from pumpkins and squashes and corn.
we also have a gratitude journal that i have family members write in all that they are thankful for as we prepare for thanksgiving.
i love fall.

I celebrate fall with new pieces in my wardrobe (lots of warm pretty things). I like to eat/make anything with pumpkin in it (pumpkin chocolate chip cookies... yum!). And then, there is always spending time with people you love on Thanksgiving (and watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory... the old one). Love this time of year so so MUCH!

Autumn is my FAVORITE time of year. I am enchanted by the colors of autumn. We have a Pumpkin Party every year.. Everyone brings a pumpkin and a covered dish and we carve and eat by the campfire. The kids love it!...well, so do the adults!! Collage of pictures from this years party:
