Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I love to take long walks, watching the leaves turning red or yellow, enjoying the crisp air. To pick apples and dig out potatoes is another favourite of me. Homemeade pie and gelly is what all of my family loves.
Last not least my son's birthday is in November, this we celebrate the most.
Thanks for the give-away!

This year we went away to a friend's place in Shenandoah Valley, VA to celebrate fall (and my birthday!). We went to a Harvest Festival, bought a ton of apples and pumpkins and are making lots of applesauce. We also love making tea, hot chocolate and cider and sitting by the fire. The leaves haven't turned completely yet in Washington, DC, but there is lots of fall color!

I love running through the trails with leaves crunching underneath my feet. I know that very soon it will be too slippery and so I am enjoying it as long as I can.

Spending as much time as possible outside. Using leaves to create the outline of all the different rooms in our make believe house - hours and hours of fun. Our annual trip to Sonny Acres Pumkin Farm. Sitting around the firepit out back. I LOVE FALL!

Mmm, fall is my favorite season! Every year, we trek upstate for a day of apple picking, followed by weeks of apple experimentation in my kitchen. Applesauce, apple muffins, apple bread, apple tarts, apple pies, apple crisp... I make it all. I also incorporate all those yummy apples into some seasonal dishes (apple/sweet potato gratin, anyone?) and invite friends over to celebrate the bounty of the fall season with a Feast. Our Fall Feast has grown so big, we've had to split our celebration in two - we just can't fit everyone at once!

We celebrate by taking long nature walks. The leaves are changing, the air is crisp and clean, and it's the perfect weather to take the doggies along.

Coming from Southern CA,it's a little hard to find fall (e.g. today, October 21, it will be in the 80s). But when our version of fall finally arrives, I get to pull out all my comfy, yet very light weight, sweaters.

In Poenix, AZ we really do not have a "Fall" season. It is just a little less hot. I pack the kids up and drive north so that my kids see leaves change and feel the crisp air.

We are redefining how we celebrate fall. We moved from Iowa to Texas and are missing our fall color fix. Thankfully a dear friend sent Aspen Mulling spices to add to the cider I bought over the weekend. I did notice one tree on my street turning yesterday so I need to be prepared for the brief fall experience with camera in hand and kids looking cute daily.

Oh my goodness Ali; you have the best giveaways. We LOVE fall. We go to a local corn maze, we pick apples, carve pumpkins, do lots of yard work as a family, jump in leaves, take a ton of pictures, wear puffy vests; basically we get as much in as we can outside before the snow flies! We love Minnesota in the fall! Thanks so much. How about your family?

One of my favorite traditions is our "daily gratitude" journal. Everyday in November, we say what we are thankful for. I record the kids entries on our blog & also in a perpetual Thanksgiving mini-book. I was shocked how meaningful this process was to my 4 year old last year (and how beautiful some of her thankful thoughts were). My (2) two-year olds will participate this year and I envision several entries about being thankful for trucks & tractors! But really, without those things, it would be hard to pull off Thanksgiving dinner!

Wow!! What a cool giveaway. I've live in
texas all my life, so we have to be real creative to experience fall down here! I like to decorate with pumpkins and lots of fall colors. Scented candles are a must for me!! Nothing makes me think about fall like an apple or pumpkin scented candle.
