Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

hi Ali! We celebrate fall with lots of pumpkins with a hay bail decoration. I get all into changing my candle scents as this is my favorite season. All kinds of fall scents out at Yankee! I bring out the snuggle blankets for the living room, and I have already made 5 loaves of pumpkin bread for us and my daughter's reading event at school.

We brace ourselves at this time of year here in Northern Alberta for the imminent arrival of SNOW ( which the forecast says may happen this week!) Then we hunker down until we are acclimatized and then outside to play! Skiing, sledding, snowshoeing and skating are favorites followed, of coarse, by hot chocolate!
We have 4 very distinct seasons here and each one is beautiful! I am thankful to live in this amazing part of Canada!

Here in Los Angeles it is still hot (90's last week) so hard to call it fall. But it does get windy, which cools the evening. So we go for evening walks and talk about how fall is in other parts of the country and my six years old jumps in the smallest pile of leaves and says "look mommy, fall leaves".

We have a lot of fun things planned leading up to Halloween... spoooky storytime at PBKids, decorating cookies with friends, church fall festival, wearing costumes to school, and our annual halloween party with friends. I LOVE this time of year!

I celebrate fall by breathing deeper, walking slower, wearing color, listening to the rain, thanking God, hosting craft nights, going to a movie, staying indoors, eating apples from my parents' garden, cleaning out the closets, playing board games with my boyfriend, and listening to swing music in the evenings.

We always enjoy going to the local pumpkin patch and making some memories with our kids, raking up the leafs and playing in the piles with a photo shoot of course. Cooking pumpkin muffins, pie, and great soups. I am pulling out the crock pot this week as a matter of fact!
Thanks for you inspiration as always!

I bake like crazy. Apple pies, pumpkin bread, muffins, cookies, you name it I bake it. It makes my whole apartment smell good and reminds me of my childhood when my mom used to bake.

It's not fall until we go apple and pumpkin picking! With my digital camera I make sure to take lots of photos, including the apples on the trees and the pumpkins in the patch. And then I come home and make apple crisp - yum - and try to keep the squirrels away from my pumpkins!

I celebrate fall with a blanket and my camera. I love putting my electric blanket on my bed and snuggling deep into it's warmth right before sleep. I love cozying up in the couch with my kids and a "woobie" or three. My camera? It seems my kids always grow a couple inches between August and October so I make sure to have some portrait type pics of them about now. Also, the trees and bushes near my house (especially that one right across the street) are on fire with their gorgeous reds and oranges. I love taking fall photos!

We always go apple picking at our local orchard, and then I make a giant batch of applesauce to can for the winter!

I love the jeans and sweaters, the crisp cool mornings and the warm afternoons. Throw in anything baked (especially with pumpkin), long walks to see the fall colors and all the activities ... and it's my favorite time of year!!

Fall starts early in Wisconsin which means September. Every fall we take time to head to the State Park in town to observe the fall colors. We walk to the Farmer's Market to purchase Indian Corn, pumpkins and corn stalks to make our home festive. We rake the millions of leaves in our yard and we all (adults included) jump into them. We take out our heavy sweaters with enthusiasm. Friday evenings are spent in the backyard near the bonfire. It is my absolute favorite time of the year.

Living here in the NorthWest, we celebrate the fall by getting out as much as possible before the rain and cold set in. Fall isn't just about Halloween. We camp (with lots of blankets), bike, plant trees, and anything else that gets us outdoors to enjoy the beautiful colors and sun.

We always visit the pumpkin patch. Fun! This year, we're adding to last year's activity of going to the corn maze. It's fun for the whole family!

Finishing landscaping projects, outside projects, taking long walks, taking pictures, being grateful for all that I can appreciate seeing, gathering sweet potatoes and see how many this year, making lentil soup and getting cozy with a good book, doing scrapbook projects.
