Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Wow! What an awesome giveaway. :)
We celebrate fall with cooking. Out come the "comfort food" recipes...soups, stews, roast chicken, etc.

We enjoy going for walks and watching the season change. It's a time to get back to some comfort cooking and baking and settling in.

Celebrating fall in our family is going to the pumpkin patch as a family:) We eat lots of kettle corn and each of us buys one pumpkin to carve. Once they are all carved we set them out on the front porch lit up with a candle. The girls love seeing them all lit up. Another way of celebrating fall is my girls and I bake yummy pumpkin bread and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I also change out all of my candles to fall scents (pumpkin pie and caramel apple scents).

I don't want to win anything, I just wanted to say that I live in Alaska, and fall is LONG over!! We have snow and haven't been warmer than 35 in weeks. ;)

I love fall! We have our anniversary on Oct. 5th and my DS' b-day Oct. 20, so it's a busy time of year. Also, this weekend, we are having family over for pumpkin carving and we'll be serving homemade pumpkin bread, toasted pumpkin seeds and apple cider! YUM!

I'm sure I'm just like everyone else - we go pumpkin picking for sure, no matter what! We try to go apple picking but that doesn't always seem to pan out, depending on where we live that year :) I do love breaking out the sweatshirts - it's one of my favorite times of year and breaking those sweatshirts out seem momentous to me.

I love Fall! It is my all time favorite season. It is all about the Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins! I love going to the Pumpkin Patch! It is my favorite place to take pictures. I love all the fall colors. Living in So Cal we don't get the typical "Fall weather", it is usually fire season with 90 degree weather and Santa Ana winds. My pumpkin pictures from a few years ago have ash covered pumpkins, it's pretty crazy sometimes. But I still love it.

Thanks Ali!
Fall is kicked off in our family by getting together with my cousins, aunts and uncles in NJ. We go pumpkin picking (yes, we still do it and I'm 27 the oldest, and my youngest cousin is 17), then go on a hike (that's a recent addition to the plan I think to fend off all the eating we do throughout the day), then eat the first of the fall beef stew. The beef stew is what really means that it's fall. And then we hang out and do whatever we want that year. This year we made decorated chocolate pretzel rods by Wilton. And of course we eat all day like I already mentioned. That's what really means fall to me.

I love to celebrate the coming of fall with apple cider and donuts and then buy yummy scented candles so my house even smells like fall. Taking walks in the crunchy leaves with my kids is also fun!

By spending as much time as possible outside in the crisp fall air in heavy sweaters and no jackets ... going to the mansions along the river in the Hudson Valley and taking awesome fall pictures on walks with my husband and wrapping up the fall season with Thanksgiving (which I get to host this year for the first time! :)) and then the final salute ... Black Friday shopping! :) - Oh, and about 15 apple pies for birthdays, dinners and just because they want them!

Already a million comments...of course! But I will still give it a try!
My favortie fall thing to do is get out the hot chocolate or wassil! Love a hot drink on the cold mornings! So yummy! Now I just wish that I could stay home in bed and enjoy them.
NOTE: if I do get picked, I don't have the software to do any digital scrapping...but the other two kits would be awesome!
Thanks Ali!
