Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

With my son being 16 months this fall, this was the first year going to an apple orchard. We all loved it and had a great time! We'll be doing this now every year... we also are going to carve pumpkins tonight for the first time, too!

Nothing traditional for fall here. At least not yet. I celebrate fall just in the every day life. The cooler weather, the changing of the leaves. It's just a great time to be outside. Every day I notice myself saying thanks for the great weather. Summer is just too hot for me.

Wow - lots of comments. Like so many others, my family and I make a trek to the pumpkin patch/apple orchard. We also host an annual pumpkin carving party, which is a lot of fun. And, or course, we make pumpkin-flavored goodies (my favorite is Rachel Ray's Pumpkin Sausage and Pasta dish - YUM!).

We usually take a day trip to the NC mountains. We're very lucky to live within driving distance of the mountains and the beach, so we always have places to go.

I love going to a Haflinger Horse show each October to show our family's horses! It's beautiful and fun! We look forward to going as a family each fall.

We celebrate fall decorating the house for Halloween first, then Thanksgiving; getting fresh baking supplies in the pantry to start baking cookies; taking pictures of the neighborhood with the trees displaying their fall colors; raking leaves; hot chocolate with whipped cream after Friday night & Saturday afternoon football games; and my husband carving our pumpkin after a trip to the pumpkin patch!! We absolutely LOVE the fall!

Mmmmmmm, Fall! I absolutely love, love, love this time of year. So much goodness...trips to the pumpkin patch, spiced cider on the stove, digging out the woolie sweaters from the back of the closet.

Living in North Florida, we don't really have a "fall" we just go from summer to winter! I'm originally from PA and have fond memories of fall as a little girl. My birthday is 4 days before Halloween, so it is definitely my favorite season of the year. With my three children, we go to the pumpkin patch, enjoy apple cider and wish we could see the fall leaves change in color. Jumping in the leaves that my grandfather raked is one of my fondest childhood memories!

We love to spend the Fall outdoors! We visit the pumpkin patch and apple orchards near by. And we do lots of fall fun crafts. Anything to keep my 3 year old busy!

With fall comes my second favorite holiday, Halloween. Since my children are older, I have a big Halloween party for the younger kids in the family (great nieces/nephews and cousins) and their friends. Oh, and of course we celebrate Thanksgiving.

Fall-the time of year when we fall into leaves, fall out of summer routines, fall down a grassy hillside and fall int each others arms.
Thats are fall.

Fall? Football, of course! Our son played football all through high school; we followed his team from one end of Oregon to the other. Now he's coaching high school football! I'm scrapbooking football pictures once again! I love fixing cozy comfort foods while the family enjoys a good OSU Beaver game! Ali, it was good to meet you at Route 5!
