Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

With no kids and no school, one season does tend to blend in with the next. However, my Mother always sends me one perfect red maple leaf. When it arrives in the mail, I know that Fall has too!

I celebrate fall by breathing in the crisp air and being reminded that yes, I am alive. If only it could be Autumn all the time! My soul treasures it.

One of my favorite fall traditions is a trip to the pumpkin patch. My son loves it. We have been going to the same place since his first Halloween. He loves getting a baby pumpkin that we can carve and decorate just for him and it sits outside next to our bigger Jack'O'Lantern.

Hi Ali. We always have a "Fall Barbecue", to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. We cook all kinds of yummy foods, roast s'mores, and everyone collects falling leaves and pine cones and we make beautiful wreaths to hang on our front doors. There's nothing like beautiful fall colors. Everyone always looks forward to it, and it's just wonderful to have another excuse to gather family and friends together!

Mainly we head to our local pumpkin patch that has a hayride, apple picking, cider and doughnuts. Also we always make pumpkin seeds after carving the pumpkins, one batch w/ regular salt and one with seasoned salt for hubby.

In the spirit of the title of your blog post, I will leave you 3 things that my family does to celebrate fall.
1. A family trip up to Apple Hill to visit a
variety of "you pick" orchards.
2. Go to the pumpkin patch and take a trip
through the corn maze.
3. Go to the Arboretum and play in a HUGE pile
of leaves.

For us here in Ireland autumn is a very special time to year. Not only do we celebrate Halloween but its the traditional time for lighting fires, making loads of apple crumbles and collecting chestnuts (we call them conkers and the kids play games with them). Great ideal Ali !!

Fall is our family's favorite time of year and we enjoy all the beautiful fall colors around us. We enjoy the many football and soccer games that go on and recognize we need more layers as the season progresses. We also anxiously wait for the leaves to fall so we can play in the leaves and, of course, take some great pictures! It wouldn't be complete without getting our Halloween decorations out and our annual trip to a local Pumpkin Patch to get our pumpkins to carve and decorate. My most memorable moment of this fall will be my 9 year old daughter's comment last night about how she "loved the smell of the cool, crisp air." I thought that was very inciteful for a 9 year old.

One of the ONLY traditions DH & I have is to pick up my nephew at least one weekend a month during the holidays for some fun time. My sister's been a single mom for a long time so he got to get out and have some fun. We don't have kids of our own so it's just as fun for us to see the world through his eyes.
PLUS....it's time to pull out those warm comfy sweaters.....ok ok I admit it...they never got put away in the first place!
