Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

pumpkins, always pumpkins. We get out the halloween decorations on the first of October and then head to the nearest farmer's market to buy lots of big orange pumpkins.
This year we're going to start a new tradition in our neighborhood and invite all the kids to have a costume parade around our park before trick or treating.
I can't wait!

Fall is one of the two favorite seasons of the year. Is warm and the colors are the best. We start celebrating by decorating the house inside and out and then we go to the pumpkin patch, take some pictures enjo the rides.
For the first time, we are going apple picking this year and we can't wait.

Fall is celebrated with a trip to the corn maze and pumpkin picking. We also take a leaf walk and wonder at God's grace and talent in all the colors. Laura D.

CANDY CORN!!!! I have two daughters(3&8) and when its FALL its time for Candy Corn! We have a wholesale food business and when Halloween comes they know its time for Papa's Candy Corn. They bring little baskets for their teachers with fall handmade crafts and Papas Candy Corn.(I dont think teachers are appreciated enough so I love to do this and FALL is our favorite time) We also read Owl Babies to start off FALL.(My 3year olds favorite book)
Thank you Ali!!!!

Sunday lunches of hearty vegetable soups and freshy crusty rolls with cheese, and hot chocolates whilst reading (I'm not a big hot drink drinker so I save it for the colder parts of the year!)

Wow count me in on these sweet giveaways. We celebrate fall the Saturday before Halloween. It's called the Pumpkin Fest and we have a campfire out in our backyard. We cook hot dogs, smores, play games, and carve pumpkins. This year we are adding a hayride for the kids. Thanks for a chance.

Totally generic- but we love to go to the pumpkin patch! There is nothing better than watching my son run amongst the pumpkins, pet the animals and jump in the corn box. Now my daughter gets to be part of the action- she just doesn't really get it yet.

We always take a trip to the Pumpkin Patch with my preschool class. Then we carve pumpkins with friends &/or family. Our church celebrates Halloween with a Barn Party & we always try to dress up. That's just October! November comes with all the Thanksgiving fun...as well as birthday celebrations in my family. :)

My favorite fall activity is to ride the gondola at Silver Mountain in Kellogg, ID to view the autumn leaves on the mountain. I know the Pacific Northwest isn't known for its fall foliage but this is just lovely and I adore the crisp mountain air before winter hits.

We started a new tradition this year and tie-dyed pumpkin shirts. We love the fall festivals that go on all around us and we especially love gearing up for Halloween. No one really likes all the candy, but the fun part is dressing up anyway! And, I can't wait for that first day it's cool enough I can justify a stop at the gas station for a nice refreshing hot chocolate! Yummy!

What a great giveaway! After reading everyone else's traditions for celebrating fall, I feel kind of left out. I don't do anything, except make the attempt to enjoy a nice piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream--yummy! I will have to change that!

Halloween is not celebrated on the same scale over here in the UK, however one of my favourite autumn (fall) traditions is Guy Fawkes, or bonfire, night, traditionally celebrated on 5th November. I like to go to a large public display loads of fireworks and a great big bonfire, followed by a hot dog on the way home. Fabulous stuff :)

I don't have children (yet), so my main fall traditions are a little decorating on the front steps, and then I always make a batch of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies. They're like a pumpkin bar in a cookie shape. Heaven!
