Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

My kids are young (5 and 3) so it's a lot of fun. We celebrate the fall a couple of ways - our county has a fall farm tour where local farms host open houses - a must see and of course we hit a few pumpkin patches and apple picking. This year we made our own homemade applesauce - (with my 3 year old daughter helping) it was great and alot of fun.

We are celebrating Spring this side of the world, so it seems strange talking about Fall but we celebrate by collecting & stacking wood for our fireplace and putting on warmer bedding and clothes too. And I personally love taking photos of the changing trees in our neighbourhood!

There's something about the heater that soothes me - love the first day we turn it on. So simple and basic, yet it means I'm home. Anything to do with warmth is nice; fireplace, hot tea, soup, warm colors. Love the change in the leaves down a tree-lined street by home.

My daughter (8 years old) is really interested in the changing of the leaves right now. So everyday she collects more and more leaves- and at this very moment I have dozens of leaves on my kitchen table she is organizing into categories of colors. I am thinking we will put a book together so she can document all her findings. She likes documenting things- she wants to be a scientist when she grows up!

what a great giveaway. We celebrate fall by doing an annual apple picking trip with our friends, hosting a pumpkin carving party, and writing down what we are thankful for inside my thanksgiving scrapbook

I celebrate the fall season by taking walks and listening to the leaves crunch under my feet.

Well, last year was my first fall (we previously lived in Texas); so I just took it all in. This year, I have been REALLY taking it in by drinking chai, breathing the crisp air, picking apples and pumpkins right of the tree or vine, taking pictures of the trees, breathing more of the air, smiling, laughing, and cooking every fall/winter favorite you can think of!

i'm a preschool teacher, and i always get so excited for all the fun fall projects we get to do- i looooove fall colors! it is hard when, since we live in Southern California, the kids don't really get to see the changing colors as much! I miss that..... But we still have fun pretending its cold and colorful here :)

Fall is the time that we harvet beer hops. Now..how many people can say they do this? :) My husband grows his own hops in our background and during Fall, we pick all million of them. He uses them to make his annual pumpkin beer. Yum, yum.

I love Autumn. Every year we go to the Apple Orchard and pick out our favorite apples, cider and the yummy apple cider donuts! We also take pics of the kids with all of the pumpkins there. We look forward to it every year.

Insanity! I can't believe how many commments there are!
We go to the Big Red barn Santaquin Utah. Hayride to the pumpkin patch, then come back and get freshly made apple cider, apples and apple cider donuts to take home. We also drive through the canyon to see the leaves changing color.

It starts with hanging the fall wreath and decorating the house with little pumpkins. We live in Texas, so it really isn't cold yet. But we pretend and make soups & pies to celebrate that it's fall. Lots of pictures! Pictures at the pumpkin patch and all dressed up at halloween.

Fall is time for wrapping up warm and making the most of the sunshine whilst enjoying the wondwerful colours. Conker collecting is a HUGE favourite for my son and as always for me it's about decorating the house. The reappearance of cinnamon and nutmeg spices in my cooking.
Harvest and giving thanks for all we have, that's fall for me.

When I think of FALL I think of baking apple pies, pumpkin picking with my kids, racking leaves, soups for dinner and snuggling up on the sofa listening to the wind blow as I drink a mug of hot cocoa.
