Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Happy Fall!
We celebrate fall in Florida a bit differently than the rest of the country! :)
On Sunday our family had a picnic outside at the park FINALLY because it wasn't 90 degrees outside! We also go to mock pumpkin patches to "pretend" to pick a pumpkin.

Our favorite things are the beautiful colors, cozy fireplaces and warm blankets. We fill the house and porch with the colors of fall and wait for winter.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons. We go to the pumpkin patch to find pumpkins. We go to the state fair in Raleigh with my sisters and mom. The girls love this event - candy apples, apple cider, rides, games, footlong hot dogs, etc. We also go the harvest festival at Brookgreen Gardens in Georgetown, SC for pumpkin painting, scarecrowing building, etc. Fall is such a fun time for us! And of course don't forget Halloween and Thanksgiving to follow!

To celebrate fall - I take lots of pictures of the colors and textures in nature while we are out on drives and walks along gravel roads and in quiet places. OH, and I cook lots with pumpkins and apples!!

spice candels, homemade soup, blueberry muffins, football, chunky sweaters, fleece blankets, hot cocoa! Love decorating for fall too.
This year I let my kids outline tons of orange, yellow, brown and red foam leaves with gold glitter on the front and back. We hung them from the ceiling in the bay window where out eat in kitchen table is... looks like it's raining leaves everyday! So festive and fun.

This time of year we love to start getting out and walking nature paths. We always do jack-o-lanterns, the corn maze, historic re-enactments and enjoy the cooler weather.

Instead of falling in love in the spring, I have decided to fall in love in the fall! That's how I'm celebrating! :)

We love getting out in the fall. It's funny that it's really the only season we go out for family hikes and such. We also do the pumpkin patch and apple picking thing.
Thanks for the chance to win!

Fall is a time to get out the "winter stuff". Wool mitts/touques/scarves and boots. The board games to play on blistery nights. Drinking hot apple cider and spending more time cuddling together as a family.

We always go to craft shows decorate the whole house in fall, and take fall photos of the family. Nothings much, but we aren't a family that has that many traditions :) I hope that changes though!!! Thanks Ali!!!

Last year, we started our new tradition of going to a pumpkin farm with a corn maze. My son chooses his favorite pumpkin.
Thanks for a chance to win some blog candy.

Living in SoCal doesn't give you much in the way of "Fall." It's still hot, my kids are still in shorts and sandals..but we're still happy about decorating for Halloween and we have pumpkins everywhere for the kids.
Great giveaway! Thanks and good luck everyone!

One thing I do every year is I go to the pumpkin patch with my best friend and our 2 kids. Another thing I do is every Thanksgiving, after dinner, I give my mom and sister a new Christmas ornament for their tree for the year.

How do I celebrate fall?
My roommates and I drive over to the coast with a big truck and buy a HUGE amount of firewood. We then start to have fires and watch movies at night.

Being grateful is how we celebrate Fall in our home. Grateful to be together and alive and so very blessed. Fall feels like a time of renewal and it just seems like for our beautiful family of 4 that everything good happens in the Fall.

Well, we take our little boys out for walks in the neighborhood and collect leaves that look kind of fall-ish. Then we glue them to a paper plate, cut out the middle and make a fall wreath that we put up in the windows. The boys love collecting the leaves and making the wreathes and our neighbors always comment on the them to the boys.
