Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I celebrate fall in many ways. First by taking lots of photos. Then, I make soups, and favorite fall food items, clean out all the summer clutter because I know most of the summer stuff around here will not fit or be "cool" by next summer. lol... Halloween... It's my favorite holiday... and nothing matches the smell of carmel candles, and taste of Honeycrisp Apples. I love fall. :) It's the perfect season. ¥

Some things that we do to celebrate the fall season are apple picking (which leads to apple crisp baking), pumpkin carving, raking and jumping in the leaves, soccer, and every October we participate in the "Making Stides for Breast Cancer" walk in memory of my mother-in-law.

I love fall! My birthday and my sons birthday is in Ocotober and we celebrate in style. We have a big halloween bon fire and play games, carve pumpkins, dress up if you want...it is always so much fun. I just get all excited when I think about the fun that is ahead...

I celebrate fall every way possible! I put up fall decorations & twinkle lights, go for walks, drink as many Pumpkin Spice Lattes as I can, watch football, make gratitude journals, and I have certain movies and cds that make me think of fall and I watch/listen to them as much as possible. Most of all, I celebrate by being happy.

To date, we haven't had too many fall traditions, other than bringing out the fall decorations in the house and lighting the pumpkin spice candles EVERY DAY. This year, our new baby will experience her first Halloween, for which the costume has already been purchased. Halloween is not normally a holiday in which I participate, but we simply must this year, for our little one. We'll go up and down the neigborhood streets, and of course, visit the grandparents' houses. With all the rain we've had this year in my part of the country, we should have some beautiful foliage to see this fall!

I adore autumn time.... In the UK at the moment we have this beautiful blue sky, bright sunshine, and perfectly orangey leaves. This is when the world is at it is most beautiful. I always have a cup of tea in the garden and try to be outside as much as possible. I relish my daily trip to work, which is the most beautifully leafy commute. I work in a school and we are celebrating harvest :) I just like living in this season.

My daughter is 4 and is learning all about fall at preschool. She loves to look at the leaves. We go shopping for pumpkins and decorate the house. Next will be getting ready for halloween. I love fall.

Even though I live in Florida, I fill the house with autumn colors - pumpkin, dark red, and gold. I put out and hang up many of the items I have made - a watercolor of fall leaves and a tablerunner of leaves in the dining room, fall scrap layout with a bowl of gourds in the living, and lots of scented candles - then I go to Starbucks and have a pumpkin spice latte. YUM!

We're trying to start new traditions...we want to go to a pumpkin patch instead of the store for pumpkins, for example. This year we took a trip to the mountains to see the leaves turning and that'll be a new tradition, too. We just moved from WA to CO last year, so I know that your fall isn't as...dry...as ours. Hope you're not too soggy!! :) Happy Fall!

i love new mexico fall because it is still so warm outside but just crisp enough to feel the coming winter bite.
i celebrate by collecting pine cones (everywhere) and turning them into ornaments, decorations, embellishments oranything else I may think to do with them.

I love to pull out all of my warm clothing and blankets and put away all of the summer things. I usually take my son to pick out pumpkins from the local pumpkin patch and we carve them a few days before Halloween.

Hi Ali,
We celebrate Fall in the usual ways: decorating our house inside and out, visiting cider mills, picking pumpkins watching the leaves change colors, etc... For me, it has also meant making a new fall mini book. Every year for the last three years, I have done this and they are never the same. This time I did the Week in Our Life challenge. I am so glad I did.

We always decorate the outside of our house for Halloween. This year we had to do it early because my husband left for Iraq. We also go pick pumpkins at a local church pumpkin patch in our area. We will also be doing the fall festival at our church.

Hi Ali,
Thanks for the chance to win. We celebrate fall by decorating our front porch and picking pumpkins and squash from the farm behind our house. Love this time of year!
