Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We usually decorate our home a bit with fall things, carve pumpkins and we ALWAYS end Halloween night over at my mother-in-laws house. She makes pie & cider & the whole family gathers for a fun evening together.

Fall = carrot muffins, pumpkin spice lattes and haloween.
Also here in Canada we bring in fall with our thanksgiving in early October. What better way to celebrate a season than by giving thanks??

Hi Ali,
Thanks for the giveaway again. Fall is my all time favorite time of year. The smells, coziness of a warm fire and comfort foods just enjoying being with family and friends, and of course the annual trek to the pumpkin farm and corn maze is coming up this weekend. Thanks for the wonderful blog and the inspiration you bring daily. Enjoy the season.

We celebrate fall with lots of apple cider, windows wide open to let in the cool breeze, multiple trips to the pumpkin patch, lots of fall decorations up at the house, but my favorite is hosting Thanksgiving dinner for as many friends as we can fit around the table. We invite as many people who aren't traveling to see family to join with us and eat and watch football. Each year we go around the table to say what we are thankful for- I love to hear the kid's answers the most! Awesome giveways! I would sure love to win one!

We always have chili and cornbread on the very first day of Fall, and try to go camping over Columbus Day weekend. <3 decorating with leaves and pumpkins, and jumping in the leaves after they are raked, too!

Grandmas pumpkin cookies are our favorite tradition. Round sugar cookies, orange frosting and chocolate chip eyes, nose and smile. She's 82 and has been making us 100's to share with kids we work with for the past 17 years!!!

Fall is a celebration of the outdoor beauty in all its jewel toned majesty, sipping hot beverages, making and baking comfort foods, slipping back into warm sweaters, and curling up on the couch with a soft throw blanket.

Fall is all about fun, fall activities! Picking pumpkins, going on hayrides, picking apples, playing in the leaves. And just enjoying the change of season!

We celebrate fall by:
1. Apple picking/getting pumpkins, decorating the front steps with fallish decor :)
2. Baking pumpkin bread
3. Getting yummy fall-like candles and lighting them.
I could go on and on but my favorite thing is to just take in the amazing fall foliage and colors and to see God's hands in all of it. Such a blessing!

I celebrate Fall by...surrendering my garden to the cold weather, ABSOLUTELY enjoying the colours, happily arranging my front step harvest display, and generally breathing the crisp air very deeply. Happy Autumn everyone!!

To celebrate the fall season, my all time favorite thing to do is to go to the pumpkin patch, pick the perfect pumpkin, and then really get down and dirty carving out the pumpkin guts! I also love to go to the corn maze, which I've only done once, but would love to go to one again. My third favorite part of celebrating fall is the change in wardrobe- love lightweight scarves and skirts with leggings!

Fall wouldn't be fall without a visit to the pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins. We also love to visit all the local craft festivals that start up this time of year.

It's time for pumpkins by the door, scarecrows, and leaves as decorations. Time for Pumpkin muffins, pancakes, or waffles, with maple syrup of course. Time for a fire in the evening. And Friday nite high school football games.

Our fall season lasted about a week this year. We have had snow for 2 weeks already! We are celebrating by decorating with pumpkins and gourds and fall colored fake leaves around the house. We have already had several pumpkin pies as well!

nothing special. our trees are green all year round in Hawaii. i am usually working long hours during this time of the year. we have family time every sunday after church. island tradewinds start cooling our island from the warm summer. we love to eat lunch or dinner at a park or the beach. we have chilly winds but not as windy as most states and it is the start of rainy season instead of snow. although it does snow on the Big Island (Hawaii) on the volcano slopes.

Wow! Great stuff - thanks for the opportunity!
I make sure to count our blessings every fall- how lucky we are! Oh, and we love to go "leaf peeping" in our family - up to the vineyards and check out the trees.
