Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Fall is one of our favorite seasons. We love going to local farms, especially the pumpkin ptaches. Lots of baking with apples. Lots of hay mazes and fall crafts. For me, it is also a time to reflect on what I want the upcmong holidays to be about, to pick the most important things and focus on those.

I am very excited....Fall is my favorite time of year.
We decorate for fall....we visit the pumpkin patch & attend Harvest Festivals....
my kiddos are 3 & 4 this year, so things are so much more fun this year....
Fall also means things come to an end...Daddy's garden, summer clothes & eating popsicles outside after dinner.....

We 'cozy-in'!
Pull out the sweaters, warmer quilts, crock pot and hot chocolate. My girls are older but still love to put up the fall / Hallowe'en window clings and little decorations. We watch the squirrels race around hiding acorns and try see who can find the biggest, most beautiful chestnut before the crows do. The shorter days mean we have crafty time around the kitchen table when it's too dark and blustery to be outside. Must not forget the the planning and scheming of what to carve on our pumpkins! Ahh...

We celebrate by going to the pumpkin patch. It is always a treat for the kids - and even though they are older now they still think it is fun.
We often use this time to visit family as well. My husband is a retail manager and isn't allowed to take off for extended periods during the holiday season - only one day for Thanksgiving and one day for Christmas.

Every year we go to the pumpkin patch, corn maze... and make pumpkin bars! This year I plan to do a blessing-a-day during November and our first baby is due in the spring so maybe we'll have new traditions next year. :) Thanks for the giveaway!

We go to the pumpkin patch. Even though we have too many pumpkins this year we're still going to the same one that we've gone to for the past 2 years of my son's life. I guess I'll just donate them to his little school since they are exploring everthing pumpkin this month. :) Oh and I can't forget the hot apple cider! Yum! Thanks for the chance to win! :)

My family's best "fall" celebration is our Thanksgiving Breakfast. Luckily, ALL of our in-laws (on both sides if you will believe it) live with twenty miles of us, so my side of the family celebrates with a Thanksgiving Breakfast...eggs, hashbrowns, muffins, fruit, coffee-cake, bacon, and just about anything else you can justify eating at breakfast...like my famous orange rolls...I have to bring them to breakfast because otherwise, my side of the family doesn't get to enjoy them. We stuff ourselves silly and then we veg out for the afternoon until it's time for us all to go to our in-laws for dinner. So, Thanksgiving is always a 5-6 thousand calorie day...but it's well worth it... and always memorable!

Fall is playing in the leaves, hearing the crunch of the leaves on the patio and restaining outdoor furniture. It is frost on the windows and chili for dinner and hot choclate and oatmeal for breakfast.

What beautiful "three things" today! I love this part of your blog and look forward to it weekly. I have purchased so many "things" from you passing along information. Fall is a time for our family to eat yummy homemade soups on Sunday, to breathe in the crisp, cool fall air, smell winter's frost soon approaching and to enjoy monthly harvest potlucks with friends. It is also a time for pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pies and I'm hooked on the Williams-Sonoma pecan pumpkin filled pancakes!

We celebrate the fall season by enjoying the great outdoors, we go paddling and go for hikes fairly frequently. It is great to just step outside your front door and be able to enjoy such fall beauty :)!

Fall season means hot chocolate, raking leaves and builing a bonfire with family & friends. Every year my brothers and sisters meet at our parents house and do a "work for food" day. My mom usually makes a huge pot of chili and gallons of hot chocolate and all the kids and grandkids work outside prepping their house for winter. It's a lot of work but we always end up having fun doing it!

Up here in Canada, we start hunkering down for a long cold winter. We usually rake leaves, pack away all of our summer furniture, cover the BBQ and clip plantings in preparation. We also make our own concord grape juice to store up for the year.

Fall means watching the leaves turn brilliant colors here in the Adirondacks, apple orchards, cider, fires, jumping in leaf piles, hot soup, baking. Lots more - We love fall!

Raking the leaves, lots and lots of leaves, participating in the National Film Challenge, taking TONS of pictures of my girls (1 & almost 3). We hope to get their own pumpkins this year.

We celebrate with a trip to the pumpkin patch, lots of apple cider and cozy blankets. It's also when I start creating gifts for Christmas presents.

Hi Ali. Love, love, love Fall. We celebrate by going to The State Fair of Texas, eating chili and cornbread when it gets cool enough at night, and sleeping with our windows open.

Ahh, Fall. We rearrange the furniture so that we can once again build a nice roaring fire in the woodstove. Tubs of Halloween and Fall decorations are pulled out of storage and the decorating begins. We bundle up for my sons weekend soccer games and bring mugs of hot chocolate, tea or coffee. The whirlwind of activities kick off the holiday season with a visit to the pumpkin patch, parties at friends, the cubscouts, and the school. Then before we know it we are celebrating birthdays, Thanksgiving and my parent's anniversary (this year their 50th!). Next thing we know Fall has become winter and we are missing the beautiful foliage and wishing for snow.

Hi Ali, we celebrate fall by going to the pumpkin patch and the apple festival. We then bring home the apples that we pick and make many delicious recipes with them. And I can not forget the wonderful pumpkin bars that I make as well! We love fall!

We just moved to a new place, but we found a pumpkin patch similar to our old beloved one... hayrides, cornmaze, pick that perfect pumpkin... then go home and warm up with some hot chocolate.
