Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We celebrate the fall season by getting out the Halloween & fall decorations, going to the pumpkin patch, & carving pumpkins & roasting the seeds. We love the colors, sights, and sounds of fall.

But .... the thing i would love to do - is travel to America in the fall and roll around in fall leaves ... where i am, we don't tend to have those beautiful change in colours that i see in pictures from the US

We're celebrating with a trip to the Salt Museum (a family outing) and by making Funkins (the permanent non-spoiling pumpkins--so cool)!

Fall means crisp walks in the park with the leaves crunching underfoot, pumpkin pie, apple crisp and warm soup...just plain cozy!

Fall has new meaning this year. A 14 month old discovering hayrides and pumpkin patches for the first time. Celebrating health, family and the joys of childhood. He's teaching us to enjoy the simple things.

Since my sons are in marching band, fall means Friday night football games, Saturday band competitions, and after school practices. Fall also means family reunions and real homecooked, over the open pit in the ground barbeque, and church homecomings. It means walks outside to see the changing leaves and feel the crispness in the air. Thesee are the ways I celebrate the fall.

I love drawing the curtains tucked up inside with lots of warming soups and tea. I love kicking fallen leaves. I love scarves and wooley hats. I love the cold nip of the air. I love the orangey glow. I love the warm coloured light. I love the last harvest of vegetables from our plot. I love apple cinnamon candles. I love hanging our hand made felt leaves in the window. I love the word Autumn.

My fmaily I celebrate fall by going to Disneyland. The air is crisp, and the park is decorated. We love getting family photos in front of the giant Disneyland Pumpkin on Main Street.

My husband would say "Football!", but I like spending the sunnier days outside, going for walks, drives, doing yardwork. The rainy, dreary days are spent inside cooking, reading, curling up with a good book with warm drinks and food out of the oven.

I'm another reader gearing up for spring but autumn here is my favourite season. The days are warm and the nights cooler after the long hot summer and it is perfect for having dinner on the verandah or in the garden. And I get to plant all those spring bulbs I'm enjoying in flower now.

We celebrate fall by taking a drive to an area we have never been, just to see the leaves. We celebrate our wedding anniversary (because fall is our favorite season, we had to get married in Oct). And finally, we have a HUGE Halloween party for all of our neighbors and friends. Everyone dresses up and talks about the party all year long :) Thanks for the chance to win!

I celebrate fall by running outside without worrying about sunscreen, if I have enough fluids, mosquitoes, etc. etc.

Hi there!
Living in Southe Florida there really is not much of a difference with the weather change but I have to admit that I love the fact that it is 86 degrees outside and not 100+. Every year we take our girls with all their cousin to the pumpkin patch where they pick their pumpkins and run around like wild children. I also LOVE to celebrate Thanks Giving with the family and eating all the great food we each bring.

Our tradition for fall is to take a drive around during peak season and take pictures - then we come home and carve pumpkins (normally on my Daughters and my b-day)-- my husband gets in a baking mood if you can believe that and does homemade baked apples/rice pudding/strudel. I am missing him this year as he is in Iraq-- I guess I need to be making these "traditional" fall foods -- Thanks for reminding me! Happy fall :)

Football games on Saturday's with my boys and rides on the parkway through the mountains on Sunday afternoons are our way of welcoming the changing leaves and crisper air of fall!
