Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Shopping, shopping, shopping for new! cute! clever! Halloween card-making stuff - which end up on every flat surface in the living/dining/bedrooms, until they're done! (Today! Hooray!) Now I can go outside and play in the leaves, enjoy the last warm days, and see everyone else's great house decorations.....

We love everything about fall-we fill the porch and the house with pumpinks and try to spend lots of time outside while we can. We also start baking, pies and cakes and oatmeal pumpkin cookies. It's simple really, we celebrate by being together and a trip to pumpkin patch!

I will celebrate fall by spending more toasty evenings with my family, sipping cider, and enjoying tasty soups that you can only enjoy when autumn is in the air.

To celebrate autumn here in Australia we always go to the Blue Mountains to a place called Mount Wilson. They have the best autumn leaves and lots of people open up their gardens to the public for you to walk through and enjoy! They also do the same during spring - which is what we are enjoying now. :):)

we celebrate fall with lots of outdoors activities enjoying the crisp fall stay outside all day weather! :)
We visit the GREAT pumpkin patch and love the hay rides and mazes and of course picking out our perfect pumpkins from the field.
this year the girls are helping me design their baggie toppers to give out candy to their school friends :)
we are going to pick up a new tradition that a friend's neighborhood does and treat three people in our neighborhood...leaving a note and treat on their doorstep and then ringing the bell and leaving... then they treat three people and hopefully the whole neighborhood by the end will have had a special treat left at their door! :)

I celebrate by ordering and planting bulbs for a beautiful garden in the spring, by hanging a fall leaf wreath on the door and decorating with pumpkins and other gourds. Sometimes I buy some of those big pots of mums for the front steps since the hanging baskets are long gone!

Besides the daily crafts and songs we do, we also host a fall party every Oct. We invite friends and neighbors and eat, play games, and visit around a fire. We love this tradition!

at home there isnt much decorating because we dont live in a house-we live in an apartment and its crowded but my mom will go through our small closets and donate a lot of clothes and she'll start bringing out the sweaters and thermals.
she'll also start sealing the windows with plastic so we wont feel drafts all through out the winter season. makes the apt feel cozier :)

We celebrate fall with two birthdays: one in September and one in November. We go to the State Fair of Texas at least once, and we also go to a pumpkin patch and FrightFest at SixFlags at least one time. We love fall!!!!

Fall to me is Wassail season. A favorite drink of my husband's that has apple juice, orange juice, a little lemon juice and spices- cinnamon, cloves and allspice. It's the best! Thanks for the contest.

For us, fall is all about the pumpkins! We get them early and display them on the front porch until we're ready to carve them, just a few days before Halloween. Not too early as they'll shrivel up and we can't have that! :) Love that each family member expresses themselves through their pumpkin!

hi Ali,
I celebrate fall by picking all of the last ripe tomatoes from my garden and I make a large pot of homemade spagetti sauce with them. I make it real garlic-y because that's how we like it!
Thanks for making your blog so fun and informative every day.

We LOVE the fall. We were married on Oct.25 and love to celebrate our marriage and our life together with the beautiful leaves and cooler temps. Our summers at work are busy, so we tend to finally get our summer holidays in October, so it is always travel month. We just finished 2.5 weeks off and I embraced the sights, scents, sounds and tastes of the fall.
