Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

It is weird for us. Fall doesn't get cold. Well we have lived in the south for the past five years so fall always is a bit warm for us. So..I celebrate fall, by being able to turn off the air and open the windows.

I love to enjoy the season by taking a long walk in the woods behind my parents house. Fall is a wonderful time to notice and enjoy the "details" in nature.

My favorite time of year is the fall months. I love the simple pleasures of the season and celebrate by slowing down my busy life and enjoying it! I love the colder days and nights, celebrating my wedding anniversary and remember our first autumn together, pulling my sweaters and scarves out of their hiding places, drink apple cider and hot cocoa, watch the leaves turn colors, visit local farms and watch the kids pick out pumpkins for the first time, take long walks, fall picnic lunches (move indoors if the weather changes for the worse)… I work in Salem and I can't wait to visit the Salem Capitol Building and walk among the many trees that turn colors and watch their leaves fall.

We go to our local pumpkin farm and I try to eat as many pumpkin flavored foods and coffees as I can.

I teach kindergarten so we celebrate fall until we celebrate Christmas. We paint, we write, we collect leaves and do lots of tasting of all those good fall foods. And we always visit the pumpkin patch and carve a pumpkin. Which we discovered floats by the way! At home, we start cooking soup and eat more of those good fall foods!

We celebrate Fall by changing out the wreath hanging on our front door. We carve out pumpkins to be lit on the courtyard. We make pumpkin cupcakes and roast the seeds. We drink a lot more of apple cider or hot cocoa with marshmallows...and we plan out who is hosting Thanksgiving for the year. We love this time of year!
Ali, the giveaway looks fabulous! Happy Fall to you!

Hi Ali. We celebrate the fall season by picking apples from our apple trees & making batches upon batches of apple pie jam, apple chips, & prepping & freezing apples for me to bake with throughout the year. The remaining apples we take to our local food bank.

We know it's fall in our household when we go to the pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkins to display in our front and back porch. Of course, the Pumpkin flag goes up in front too. We then decorate the house with fall decorations and wreaths and anything fall related that my son brings home from school.

Hey Ali
i celebrate fall by carving pumpkins for halloween, and raking leaves with my sister, and then haveing a blast playing in them! Where we live though we get snow really quick, so leaves dont stay very long!Thanksgiving is also a pretty big event for us as well!

We always go to the orchard and get apples to make applesauce, apple jelly, apple pie, apple cobbler and apple butter.
We also get pumpkins, gourds and corn, and decorate the front yard. We also try to find a corn maze, but they are getting harder to find.
We do not always go trick or treating - as my daughter is sensitive to high fructose corn syrup and cannot eat most of the candies given out... so this year we are going to celebrate with a bonfire.

Fall definitely just doesn't feel right until I visit the pumpkin farm/orchard. Corn mazes, funny squash, choosing pumpkins for my porch & yummy fresh-picked Honeycrisp apples.

Since we moved into a house, we celebrate fall by overseeding our yard, planting annuals like pansies in the flowerbeds, and planting tulip and daffodil bulbs. After all this hard work, we are so excited with our yard!

We spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the apple orchard. The same orchard that I visited as a child. We enjoyed the fare of warm cider and fresh donuts! Yum

Fall isn't such a big deal in the south though we do see some changes. Mostly, the humidity starts to drop a bit and it gets a 'tad' cooler! I love to get things out for Halloween though and go to an annual Creepover crop.
