Week in the Life : sharing samples + giveaway

It's a beautiful day here (Vermont), sun is shining, it's a nice cool day. Lots on the schedule for tomorrow that I'm preparing for today! Taking lots of pictures!!

This is just so amazing to see how everyone incorporated this idea into her own design! A whole lot of inspiration... I REALLY need to sort the pics out and get them printed!
Good today:
It finally stopped raining and the sun came out (did I hear someone beg for rain earlier? You should move over to the netherlands!)
Inside our home, it also stopped raining thanks to my lovely&utterly amazing stepdad who fixed our leaking shower stall today (although leaking is probably an understatement, more like a perpetual Nile flooding). No more showering in the farthest corner, no more piling of towels to keep the water from streaming through the wall, no more endless washing of stinky towels, no more moldy hole to look at...
But the BEST thing: thanks to you, I did not get hysterical or panic when this hole appeared on the second day of this project. I just thought: I'M THE ONLY ONE WITH A PICTURE OF A MOLDY HOLE IN THE BATHROOM WALL!!!!

Being able to exercise at home!

Today the final details go through on the sale of our house! Yeah!! It's a happy day!

Today is a good day! My kids woke up in a good/loving mood - lots of kisses and hugs before I left for work this morning :)
I'm a week late taking my pictures, but I'm following along with the sample layouts - they are so inspiring. I love this concept! I can't wait to start putting the album together next week! Thanks for everything, Ali!

Today I got up and did some yoga first thing...it's been way too long since I did that, so I am glad that today I could get back into that routine again.

Today is good because my daughter is out of the hospital and we are decreasing her steroid dosage! It is also my wedding anniversary...good indeed.

I have a sick child home today. This means I have to take a day off from the gym (my morning routine) and have that extra cup of coffee. I'm planning spend my normal "gym hours" knitting and making the covers for my week o' photos project from last week! It's nice to have a day off!

I love Wednesdays since it is date night with my husband! It's especially good today as it's his turn to treat!

Today is a good day because....
- I'm alive & my family is well
- My husband returns today from his business trip
- We are getting rain for the first time in a very very long time.
- I got a really cool Chico's necklace & earring set from my parents for my birthday
- I'm seeing weight loss success towards my trek to loosing 70 lbs by Sept 2009.
- This project has given me a renewed excitement for something I really love being - an artist.
Thank you Ali for continuing to encourage us to be creative and an artist with what we love to do.

Thank you so much for sharing other people's ... this has been a real inspiration and I'm scheduling a week in our life very soon!!

Good things today - loving that it is rainy out, getting my hair cut this afternoon, and planning to spend this evening working on my Week in the Life album! (I made my sketches and plans last night, so I am ready to roll!)

Today was great b/c I got to go on a trip to City Hall with my daughter's 2nd grade class. They were so excited to meet the City Commissioner!

The best thing about today is that I have the day off and I will be spending it at my sons school(3rd grade) helping in the classroom and they are having their fundraising walk a thon that I will be volunteering at also. Dosen't get much better then spending a day at school with your boy :)!!

The sweetest thing my husband does for me is letting me sleep in a bit and getting the kids ready and to the bus on time when he's not traveling.... It's such a rare treat! Today was one such rare day with the added bonus that it was a rainy morning... LOVE sleeping in on a rainy morning....

Today is Wednesday which means my youngest goes to soccer practice with her dad and I get my oldest to myself. She LOVES to scrapbook and stamp so it's nice to have time with just her and have fun together! I look forward to these nights!

Today I managed to get up and get myself and my two boys dressed BEFORE having coffee.
MAJOR accomplishment!

Today is wonderful because I am home from work, the kids are at school, and I get to spend some time reconnecting with myself. I need to do this more often. {xoxo}

Another good day getting Brody on the bus for school - as the week wears on, he is more tired for the 7:00 am bus pickup. But smiling as he got on, also getting dropped off at home to day - no sitter. That is good for us all!!

Thanks so much for sharing what people have been sending you. It's so inspiring to see how everyone has made it their own. I'll be putting my album together over the weekend, so it's so great to have all of these great ideas to pull from.
Today... well, it's still pretty early for me. I love to do my blog reading first thing in the morning. I have to say, though, that my favorite part of the day is my morning session of playing fetch with my favorite cat (yes, I said cat). Petey just loves to play fetch and it totally cracks me up!
